Seeing the greens, hearing the soothing sound of the water, the birds chirping and flying around, and the clean atmosphere is so refreshing.

Traveling is not only done on exploring by foot; it's also a great when done on a houseboat, sailboat, or yacht, allowing you to stay overnight or longer. Here sharing with you one of the beautiful regions of Zeeland, located in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, the Netherlands!

 

Taking a mental reset is well-needed for us to function properly.

For me, Zeeland isn't ordinary; it offers enjoyment like water sports encounters, a welcoming vibe, hospitable residents, romantic highlights, authentic colors of nature, distinctive coastal villages, peaceful explorations, and I guess,hmmmn.. surely a photographer's paradise! 📷

Who doesn't appreciate a cleansing for the spirit, a green flag that inspires go-getters, and fosters an overall atmosphere of positivity? Now that's giving you GO-GREEN mindset attitude!

Breathing in fresh oxygen is vital. Exploring the nature of Zeeland is a gem, though you will never see any mountains in the Netherlands, as the country itself is low-lying, or you could call it a flat country. Happily, efforts have been made to create a healthy surroundings by planting trees and maintaining green spaces.

Fun Activities and Adventures

 

Kayaking, boating, sailing, jet skiing, kitesurfing, paragliding, picnicking, kiteflying, windsurfing, and swimming are the basic water activities you can do here around the lake.

 
Pay attention that speedboating in Arnemuiden is a no-go in most of the islands; the police will monitor what's happening around. If you get caught, expect to pay a fine. They value safety and a calm surrounding in this area.

And if you plan to go fishing, you need to have a licence; however, fishing is allowed only in some particular areas.

Ever thought of renting a boat, sailing, banana ride, kitesurfing, kayaking, supping, or canoeing? Get ready for some adrenaline. I've experienced boating in Arnemuiden, and it is really fun to do.

Veere

 

A great place to take a walk is right in the center of Veere, accessible by a 30-minute boat ride (we use a rubber boat).

 

Mostly on weekends, a lot of fairs are held, such as scouting, fun sports, flea markets, and food stalls are displayed. For more info, visit Veere.nl/evenementenkalendar.

 

 

It's an ideal place when you're up to a variety of eats, bars, events, shops, museums, or just a sweet escape retreat to chill.

Port

 

Around Arnemuiden Poort,I've heard that 40% here are Belgian and 10% are internationals, so the rest are Dutch. Why, because it is cheaper and the surroundings are well-maintained, clean, and an ideal space for a variety of sailboats and yachts.
