Saludos a todos! ¿Les gustan las caminatas al aire libre y en contacto con la naturaleza? Bueno, esta publicación va en ese plan. El lugar, los alrededores del cerro de La Bandera, en La Victoria, estado Aragua.

Greetings to all! Do you like outdoor walks and contact with nature? Well, this post has to do with that. The place, the surroundings of La Bandera hill, in La Victoria, Aragua state.

Todos los días la gente hace caminatas por los diferentes senderos de este cerro, sin embargo, esta caminata la organizó la alcaldía como parte de las actividades culturales y deportivas que se realizan en la ciudad para celebrar el día de la Juventud (12 de febrero), fecha que se conmemora la batalla de La Victoria, una de las más importantes de la gesta independentista.

Every day people take walks along the different trails of this hill, however, this walk was organized by the mayor's office as part of the cultural and sports activities that take place in the city to celebrate Youth Day (February 12), date that commemorates the battle of La Victoria, one of the most important of the independence struggle.

Ese día participó mucha gente no solo de La Victoria sino también de otras ciudades cercanas. La caminata empezó a las 7:30 de la mañana, y aunque el clima de febrero es bastante fresco, se puede apreciar la sequía en toda la montaña ya que hace mucho tiempo que no ha llovido.

That day a lot of people participated, not only from La Victoria but also from other nearby cities. The hike started at 7:30 in the morning, and although the weather in February is quite fresh, you can appreciate the drought throughout the mountain since it hasn't rained for a long time.

El Cerro de la Bandera está ubicado al este de la ciudad, cerca de la salida de La Victoria hacia la autopista regional del centro. Es un lugar muy visitado por todos los que aman actividades como caminar, trotar y hacer senderismo.

The hill of La Bandera is located to the east of the city, near the exit of La Victoria and towards the downtown regional highway. It's a highly visited place by all who love activities like walking, jogging and hiking.

Si bien hay una vía de cemento que conduce directamente hasta la cima, algunos senderistas se han encargado de explorar y abrir muchos caminos de tierra en los alrededores de la montaña para los que disfrutan de adentrarse un poco mas entre los bosques y la vegetación de este cerro para caminar y trotar.

Although there is a cement road that leads directly to the top, some hikers have taken it upon themselves to explore and open many dirt roads around the mountain for those who enjoy going a little deeper into the forests and vegetation of this hill for walking and jogging.

Entre los caminos del bosque nos encontramos con esta casa abandonada, o lo que queda de ella / Among the paths of the forest we find this abandoned house, or what is left of it

La gran cantidad de árboles hace que la sequía no sea tan notoria bosque adentro / The large number of trees makes that the drought isn't so noticeable in the forest

Me llamaron la atención estos árboles unidos por sus raíces, los llamé, los árboles enamorados 💕 jejeje / These trees united by their roots caught my attention, I called them trees in love 💕 hehehe

Caminar entre la naturaleza y los diversos sonidos, olores y sensaciones que ella nos ofrece es una actividad que ayuda a distraer la mente, ejercitar el cuerpo y sanar el alma, todo se vive y se siente diferente entre las hojas que se mueven con la brisa, la fresca sombra de los árboles y la ausencia de contaminación sónica, es el mejor cargador para activar nuestras pilas y resetear nuestro chip.

Walking among nature and the various sounds, smells, and sensations that she offers us is an activity that helps to distract the mind, exercise the body, and heal the soul. Everything is lived and felt differently among the leaves that move in the breeze, the cool shade of the trees and the absence of sonic pollution, is the best charger to activate our batteries and reset our chip.
