Have you been to a 5-star hotel? Here in Cebu, Philippines we have a 5-star hotel named after its presidents and chairman. Jpark Island Resort is located in Mactan Island, Cebu Philippines which is named after its founders Mr. Yong Jun Park and Justin Uy. Uy is the president of the resort while Park is the chairman. However, what I am going to share with you today in my blog is not about the hotel itself but my wholesome experience while staying and enjoying one of the 5-star hotels in Cebu.

It's my first time visiting the hotel. We celebrated my cousin's 24th birthday here because it is her favorite hotel and she invited me a lot of times already but I can't always make it because I am too busy with school. So, this time I am very happy that I get to insert her birthday in my schedule. Going back, the first time I enter the hotel, it "5-star hotel" definition really fits in. The warm welcome of their staff makes me really feel like an important guest. My aunt booked two deluxe rooms which already have a kitchenette, living room, two shower rooms, and two bedrooms, the first bedroom consists of two single beds and the second one has a larger bed.

I love their rooms because it is really clean and well-maintained. The view is also majestic. They also have an extra bed and you just need to request it or call their room service. During dinner time, my aunt ordered calamares, sinigang, pork adobo, and some other food I can't recall. Their foods are really delicious. I love their calamares.

Their beach is also very nice. I and my cousin enjoyed swimming there for a while and the weather was really fine at that time so we really enjoyed it.

The next morning, we had our breakfast at a buffet restaurant inside the hotel named "Abalone". Their foods are also delicious, especially their croissant. The restaurant is really luxurious and I think it costs 800 pesos per person for breakfast and 1,000 pesos for lunch. And since it is my cousin's birthday, they have a free cake with a sing dance of happy birthday. For me, the buffet is worth it because their foods are delicious and they also have a very well-accommodating staff.

After breakfast, we took some pictures and keep on strolling around the resort since it is still early to swim in the pool. When the pool is already open, we took our time swimming in the pool and have some talk while swimming. I am really happy that I and my cousin have had some deep talks about life recently and other things that have been happening around us. The pandemic put some distance between the two of us because I don't get to visit their house, and I can't invite her to my birthday celebration because of the quarantine but I am glad that we had some catch-up on her 24th birthday. She also brought some of her friends and of course our other cousins.

My Jpark Island Resort experience was wholesome. I enjoyed their services and of course, the place. If you want to go there, you need to book first and choose the room that you desire.
