TRAVEL BLOG 2021 - BORACAY: The White Beach in the Philippines (PART 2)
Hey everyone, it's yo girl . I wanna thanks
,
,
, and
for featuring my post and for everyone who upvoted my post (Boracay Part 1). Writing has never been my strong point but ever since I posted in Hive and saw that everyone is being supportive, I feel encouraged. So, BIG THANKS! 😘
So let me continue where I left off at Part 1 yesterday.
DAY 3
When I say you will enjoy your time in Boracay, you definitely will. If you want to have a chill vacation or do some water activities or even a nightlife experience, Boracay is the go-to place.
As for us, after breakfast, we explored the place where we stayed, the Henann Garden Resort. Lemme share to you how beautiful the place is...
Our accommodation comes with outdoor pool and breakfast. You can check at the last part of this post how much we spent for the hotel accommodation.
And guess what?? I am always insecure about my body, how I look and how to dress...but because of the encouragement of my bestfriend and boyfriend, I had the strength to wear what I wanna wear (I grew up in a conservative family). It really feels liberating. Yep, it's not that of a big deal wearing bikini, but for me, it's a huge step towards real freedom and people in Boracay really do not mind if you have huge thighs or anything. You just need to chill and have fun.
Look at that sunburn, LOL, that was because during our first day, I wore an off-shoulder one piece. But I do not regret it, I had so much fun!!
See? Before this, I always wear long sleeves drifit when swimming. But now, uhmm, couldn't care less. As what they always say, "My body, my rules"
(If you are planning to visit Boracay, you must keep in mind to have face mask everytime even at the beach except swimming or else you will pay the fine of $50)
And since my motto for this trip is YOLO, I also had Henna Tattoo. As much as I want to have a real tattoo I can't because I am afraid of pain (I have a very low pain tolerance, I tend to lose consciousness when I'm in pain).
I really didn't know what happened here LOL. It was supposed to be a fairy with a human face but anyways, it still looks good.
I actually have 3 henna tattoos but the last one was a fail. It was a cute butterfly but the location was not good since it was tattooed at the back of my ear.
After a whole day of swimming and photoshoot, we watched the sunset again.
Here are some of the photos that we had during our "photoshoot" sesh.
And here's the sunset, the horizon where the sky meets the sea. Look at how majestic it is.
At night, we explored and looked for the famous bars and coffee shop by the beach. We were told that the real nightlife has been closed off temporarily because of the pandemic.
After our long walk, we booked a room service massage and ordered dinner to end the day peacefully.
DAY 4
Time to go back! The memories are for keeps. And we are planning to go back again.
Btw guys, let me introduce Sophia, 5-year old toy poodle, our youngest family member. She looks so tired on this photo because when we arrived home, she was so excited to see us that she doesn't know what to do and keeps on running around and hugging each one of us. She's so cute!!!
Before I end this post, here is the list of expenses and what are the things you can do at Boracay (based on my experience and how much I remember):
1. Flight via Cebu Pacific Air - $172.50 for roundtrip ticket
2. 4 days 3 Nights Accommodation at Henann Garden Resort - $240 for Grand Room with breakfast for two
3. Environmental Fee and tour package - which I forgot. You can find tour packages online either joiner or private boat
4. Parasailing - $24 per person
You can also rent a helicopter, a jetski, speedboat, parawsailing. There are lot of things you can do based on your preferences. But if you are not fond of water activities, you can also have a relaxing vacation just by swimming at the beach, enjoying the food or have a fantastic nightlife. You decide.
Thank you for reading! 'Til my next travel blog, it's yo girl .
