"Life is change" goes the old saying and it proved itself right for me yet again. Staying idle is not my style even though I would sometimes like it. Let me update you on what the hell is going on and what can you expect in the near future, here on my blog.
So after a month in Serbia, more or less waiting for spring to come, it finally came :)
No more excuses anymore as the weather is more than suitable for camping. And I am doing it in style my friend. Glamping is a weak word for me...
Almost exactly a year ago I have bought my first ever property which I like to call "the cheapest house in Europe" and started some renovation works. Now, because it is in Serbia, the paperwork needed took way too long to process and I wasn't allowed to stay longer than three months. It was summer, I felt a need to travel anyway, but the good old restrictions right...
So I've patiently stayed around the Balkans and waited and waited. Before you know it l, it was end of summer and lockdowns and bad weather were knocking on the door again. So I went to Turkey and become resident there.
Some of you might have seen my older blogs from that time. I've even made a challenge of blogging for one month straight. It payed for my bills and it kept me productive, while outside in a country I didn't necessarily needed to be. But hey, Turkey is beautiful!
Now, let's get back to Serbia.
As I woke up today to a last day of my apartment rental deal, I was out in the street. Or out on the road to be precise. On the road to my holiday house ;)
Early morning in Niš was so picturesque, it inspired me to write this blog and potentially it kick-started something bigger, a small glamping oddysey...
Next thing you know I am on the bus to nowhere. Well, almost. To my house in the middle of nowhere.
Yes, that is a face full of excitement to go and walk for three to four kilometers away from the mobile signal. It is truly awesome glamping place, but not for everyone as there is no electricity..
But for me it makes it that much more exciting when you have to use fire every night to keep yourself warm and warm fed.
All the best,
Global Local
Last but not least: My glamping paradise...
