Today I am going to leave you with this beautiful trip that I made to the province of Bolzano, to Alta Badia, a region of Italy that borders Austria and Switzerland, it is Trentino-Alto Adige, the Südtirol.

Hoy voy a dejarles este hermoso viaje que realicé a la provincia de Bolzano, a la Alta Badia, región de Italia que hace frontera con Austria y con Suiza, se trata de Trentino-Alto Adige, el Südtirol.
The eastern part of this territory is occupied in its central part by the impressive presence of the Dolomites with their impressive profiles, their great heights that guard and frame the beautiful Val Badia. Val Badia is an extensive valley where the towns of Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Casiano, Pedraces and La Val are nestled among winding landscapes.
La parte oriental de este territorio está ocupado en su parte central por la impresionante presencia de los Dolomitas con sus impresionantes perfiles, sus grandes alturas que guardan y enmarcan el precioso Val Badia. Val Badia es un extenso valle donde se enclavan, entre sinuosos paisajes, los pueblos de Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Casiano, Pedraces y La Val.
The Val Badia is surrounded by other valleys of the Dolomites which are accessed through passes between the mountains.

The view of the Dolomites and its idyllic valleys makes an impression for a lifetime. In its airs an experience of great closeness with pure nature is lived. You have the impression of being in the place where all the fairy tales and all the legends were born.

One of the most important architects of the 20th century, Le Corbusier, described the landscapes framed in the Dolomites as "the most beautiful architectural work in the world."
In its proximity we can enjoy the mountains, great rock walls, glaciers, towering peaks (eighteen of them exceed 3,000 meters), towers and pinnacles; mountains sculpted by atmospheric agents ... This habitat is home to an immense variety of plant and animal species.
Uno de los más importantes arquitectos del siglo XX, Le Corbusier, describió los paisajes enmarcados en los dolomitas como “La más bella obra arquitectónica del mundo”.
En su cercanía podemos gozar las montañas, grandes paredes de roca, glaciares, picos altísimos (dieciocho de ellos superan los 3.000 metros), torres y pináculos; montañas esculpidas por los agentes atmosféricos… Este habitat es el hogar de una inmensa variedad de especies de plantas y animales.
But the Dolomites keep, from my perspective, a more precious treasure in their mountain villages, where Italian, German and indigenous culture, Ladino, mix.
Ladino, or Romanesque, is a set of three different Romanesque dialects in the central and eastern Alps, vestiges of an ancient Romanized Celtic population that were differentiated by proximity to each of the borders.
Traditions and customs that remain as emblems of identity are protected with the Ladino language.
Pero las dolomitas guardan, desde mi perspectiva, un tesoro más precioso en sus pueblos de montaña, donde se mezclan la cultura italiana, la alemana y la cultura autóctona, la ladina.
El ladino, o retorrománico, es un conjunto de tres diferentes dialectos románicos en los Alpes centrales y orientales, vestigios de una antigua población celta romanizada que fueron diferenciándose por cercanía a cada una de las fronteras.
Con la lengua ladina se protejen tradiciones y costumbres que se mantienen como emblemas de la identidad de los habitantes primigenios.
The Ladino linguistic code is essentially oral, without a recognized standardization, although there are laws that protect it, since Val Badia is officially trilingual. The school teaches in all three languages and all signs and names of streets and places are marked in the same way.

The Dolomites are the mountain range of the eastern Alps. Its beauty and importance is endorsed by Unesco by including it in the list of world heritage sites.
Its name honors the French geologist Dieudonné Dolomieu, who discovered the properties of dolomite, a limestone rock rich in the mineral dolomite, composed of calcium and magnesium carbonate that is present in large quantities in this mountain range.
Los Dolomitas son la cadena montañosa de los Alpes orientales. Su belleza e importancia está refrendada por la Unesco al incluirla en la lista de patrimonios de la humanidad.
