Hello every body,
While I was traveling around the north-western part of Spain, I ended up in the town of Viveiro. This coastal town is located in a natural harbor at the end of the river, Ria de Viveiro, which has a direct connection with the Atlantic ocean. Because of the big river estuary, it lays well protected from the waves and weather that often comes rolling in from the Atlantic.
I ended up on this parking space next to this big sports facility, next to the harbor, were you are aloud to park your camper van and you can stay the night. As you can see, many people in plastic white refrigerators did that. I was the only color that night on the parking lot.
I parked my van, and after a quick siesta, I took a walk along the waterfront were I was parked. The views from my parking spot were pretty nice.
Lovely reflection in the water of the harbor.
It was already to late to hop on my bike to discover the town of Viveir so I decided to walk towards the bay and beach. There this beautiful red fishing boat took of towards the Atlantic ocean for a nights of fishing.
My telephone doesn't have a big depth of field. To bad because these flowers looked pretty cool in front of the red boat.
There was a long walking path next to te river towards the bay and beach.
When I arrived at the first beach, I was right on time to capture the last color of this sunset. There were no clouds above the sea, just above the land. So that's is were the color was.
When I came back at the camper spot, I could enjoy the last part of the blue hour.
And soon, all the lights of the town were turned on and that made it very pretty. I love the time of the evening, blue hour, It's a great time to go out and shoot some pictures.
The next morning there were a lot of clouds and they were predicting a lot of rain. That was not that bad because I started to feel a bit sick. The tides were low and many boats were laying on the bottom of the bay.
And this is how it ended, it started raining and the predictions were that it would stay like this for the next two days. At this time I really felt sick. I had the flu and was lying in bed shivering. So lucky for me I wasn't missing out a lot here. I had food an water, a warm blanket and I was laying dry. I slept like a baby until the next day.
