Greetings to the people of Hive. Let me take you on the second leg of my Kristong journey......
The next morning we get up very early in the morning, made our own noodles and coffee and finish our breakfast. From the mountain village where we rested for the night, we would've to trek for about 3 hours to reach the top of kristong. Being energetic and excited, we set off, forgetting the fatigue and tiredness of the previous day. The mountains were so beautiful that it feels good to breathe. The path was very steep from the hill village on the way to kristang, I must say it was a challenging one.
We went out a long time ago to see the clouds and after a while we saw that unearthly beautiful scene. We were then about 2,400 feet above sea level, and clouds of cotton floating far below from us. The purpose of going to the mountains seemed to be fulfilled then.
We went out a long time ago to see the clouds and after a while we saw that unearthly beautiful scene. We were then about 2,400 feet above sea level, and clouds of cotton floating far below from us. The purpose of going to the mountains seemed to be fulfilled then. I forgot all the fatigue all soreness tiredness. There were so many big old trees which I've never seen in my life before, different kinds kinds of birds, everything looked amazing. But didn't encounter any big animal that was a surprise for sure.
I simply can't express in words what it was like. Living an urban life, I became so mechanical that everything seemed like a dream. The deeper we went, the more beautiful the mountains became. On that day, of course, everyone took enough water so there was no problem with drinking water. Although the first 3 or 4 km road was very good, the road was very inaccessible just 3 km before reaching Kristong. It was very difficult to trek. Our guide was so experienced that we took an unexplored trail and finally reached our desired destination.
That day was December 16, our Victory Day. What could be a better moment to enjoy the joy of victory. We sat there and ate some snacks. Then we all took some pictures together, then again we were ready to go back.
We walked back down the steep hillside to our base camp. Then we started cooking, and everyone took a bath. By then it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. After finishing the meal, some of our team went out to the summit of another hill called Rungrang. A few of my friends and I decided that we would get some sleep. Because I think that we should travel with pleasure and proper rest. There is no point in rushing to cover a number of places. As far as I can see, I will come back later if needed. But I will not oppress the body.
Now it's time to return, all the good times seem to end a little early. The next morning we got up and left again. That 8 hour trek. We came back to Aslam Ali Kadam to see many amazing scenes along the way. From there by bus to Dhaka again. In these 3 days I have realized myself so much that I will remember this trip for the rest of my life.
So That's all for today. I will share more travel blogs in the future, Bye
Thanks
