Friends, all hive travelers, greetings, the best time is June month to visit and travel to the western part of Norway. The late spring brings the beauty of nature, the mountains are beautiful with melting snow and ice. The land is lush with greenery, and covered with colorful flowers, and the rivers and streams are flourishing in full swing and flowing through the valleys, creating beautiful waterfalls. and all architecture tells the history of Norway.
Today I share some of the beautiful places we visited last year during the first week of June. It is not enough to explain with writing or photographs, but still, I am trying it my way because it was so many things to experience. Thousands of photos are not sufficient to explain this travel because it was a heavenly experience with amazing nature.
Kongsberg town is right on the Numedalslogan river bank.
Typical Norwegian bridge on the way.
Lampeland Town. (Lamp city)
One more bridge on Logandal River with a nice view.
Nemedalsbanen is an old-style railway for industrial uses. one small stop on the way to our destination Vørringfossen.
The attraction here is this Rollag Prestegard. As they said it is not a museum open to the public. But just for a small stop and looking at the structure there are no restrictions.
We had a small stop here and walked and watched around. this Prestegard Byggda .
the original Rollag stave church was built in the 1200s but later remodeled in the 1660s

Rollag Bridge on the Nemedalbanen railway
The lake in the mountains of Hardangervidda is still partially frozen
Before we got to Vørringfossen waterfall we stopped at this place I named it Rock-Valley. the ice started melting lots of rocks small to big all over the bank
.
Finally, we arrived at Vørringfossen the waterfalls where many falls meet in one stream in a steep gorge. The main attraction is the waterfalls, Those smart Norwegian architects made special walking stairs and railings so people can walk over and around and see the waterfalls at each angle.
Here we can walk all the way down using stairs to see waterfalls from all angles.
walking around the waterfalls we spent a lot of time there how time passed we didn't realize. But this is the long daylight season so even at 10 p.m. the sun was shining. we planned it so the cottage we booked was not far from here.
Many people in Norway have their own cottages and they like it on the top of hills or mountains. The view of green mountains and green rooftop cottages from the road.
The cottages are built all around.
Down from the mountains, there was a small shopping center in the next town.
our campground was located at the end of a beautiful lake nestled between the mountains
The water from the lake behind the cottage makes a very nice peaceful sound like music that helps us good night's sleep.
After having our dinner we went to sleep in our small cottage.
good night.
Thank you very much for reading my experience. this is my original content and all photos taken by me and it is my property.
