Hello, community, friends, and travelers! Greetings! This evening, we headed to Raugland, a quiet coastal area known for its rocky beaches covered in large stones. The main area is filled with cottages, but most of the owners hadn't arrived yet. It was very still and peaceful. The sunny evening created a pleasant atmosphere for a walk and exploration of nature, allowing us to admire beautiful wildflowers, the blue sea and sky, beautiful rocks, and listen to the songs of birds during our stroll.
Summer is very special here in our area. This two-month period is full of excitement and joy, and it is a season that everyone— from children to adults—looks forward to. Everywhere we go, everything feels fabulous. Nature surrounds us and invites us to explore abundantly. We have green forests, shining sunshine, singing birds, and blooming wildflowers as well as garden flowers.
Our area/district is rich in nature, and I often say that we are blessed with it. While each season has its unique charm, summer stands out in its own way. Walking through nature listening to the birdsongs, and enjoying the quiet moments, refreshes both the mind and body, creating a perfect balance on physical and mental levels. Experiencing all these wonders is truly special.
Before reaching Rocky Beach, we crossed a small forest. It was delightful, with lovely small pine bushes on one side and blooming red flowers along the fence, which belonged to one of the cottages.
The sun was shining through the trees, several boats were on the ground, some of them on trailers, ready to be launched into the water soon.
We were almost there, but before we got there, we passed through a very nice charming area filled with wildflowers.
In these rocky areas, numerous wildflowers and bushes are also thriving and blossoming from spring to fall
The wide range of marsh spurge is blooming all over the place. between the rocks.
Between those rocks, lots of wild flowers and bushes grow, and they bloom in the spring. In my previous post, I mentioned that Norway has a long coastline, but much of it is covered with rocks and pebbles. There are only a few places with small sandy beaches. Coming from Goa, I am very familiar with large, expansive sandy beaches with white sand. However, here in Norway, it is mostly rocky terrain. I enjoy taking walks along the coast, but I haven't tried swimming at the beach.
The wild roses have just started blooming, filling the atmosphere with their delightful fragrance.
tiny little lbells. Lily of the valley looks and smell beautiful, but it is poisonous.
One more thing: in Norway, people are very generous when it comes to maintaining these natural places. They provide safe walking indicators, ladders, and stone stairs for everyone to use. We climbed those stairs and came close to the water.

A little sandy area (sand beach). Enough to enjoy summer.
This seaweed is naturally bleached by the sun and salt.
The small water pool makes a nice design with colored shades of seaweed. looks like a painting.
See how the green seaweed converts to white at the edge as the water in the pool evaporates.
Those rocks are Larvikite with other crystals mixed in
Armeria maritima, the thrift, sea thrift or sea pink, grows on rock, but if you plant them in a garden they dont survive.
In the evening sun, they look happy.
many rocks contain water, and they seem like pools. After a little relaxing and getting fresh air, we turn back
Norwegian angelica (Kvann)bushes were lined up on the path where we turned.
Together with salix bushes.
Dandelion and many more.
The golden sun shines on the tree looks beautiful. There are many of them around.
In these trees somewhere, a nightingale was singing a very sweet song. I tried to upload it, but it didn't work.
Last photo at a roadside farm on the way home, farmer watering his garden, mixing sunrays into it.
Thank you for stopping by.
