Hello my dear Hive readers,
Today i have for you a tip for a trip again. If you are in Bodensee region and it is rainy day, so you sit at home or in a hotel and you are bored. I would like to recomend you to make a trip to Uhldingen-Mühlhofen. It is the place, where one can make more trips and still have something to see there. You can go to have a look on old stilt houses. Which are situated in the Pfahlbauten open air museum in Unteruhldingen which is one of three vilages conected in one town Uhldingen-Mühlhofen. And that is better to do when the weather is more sonny. Becouse it is the rainy day today. I would like to take you to the Tractor museum. Tip for the Tractor musem we have got from our nice lady from Antique shop in Immenstaad ( you could read abouth her in my article abouth Immenstaad @holdonla/immenstaad ).
We arived in front of the museum in the morning. Actualy i would like to say, that we tryed to get up earlyer, which is usualy a bit difficult for the whole family. When someone would be watching us to get ready for a trip morning he would laugh.
But anyway after we got in the car, all of us have had a good mood. Becouse we are going to see something. Ofcourse one would say "why you take girls in the Tractor museum?" But even the girls can engoy it. It is not just abouth tractors. You can see there a lot more. For example an old workshop, an old school, petrol station and a lot more.
The museum is devided in to three foors. On the first floor you`ll see not only old tractors, but there are a lot of interesting things to see. Becouse I like historical things of all kinds. It was a piece of heaven for me there. And the girls they have been interested in all of that as well. Great was the old workshop where you can see old mashines like drils, thurnig lates, mills and so on. And another old worshop for the car repairs. Ofcourse a lot of tractors of many speces and sizes you can see there too.
Second floor is also interesting there are exhibited things from 20th century, lets say things and vehicles. One corner there i did realy liked there. Was an exhibition how are historical vahicles found these days in an old barns. They actualy builded corner like an old barn with two VW beatles in there. Girls were on another place observing an old living room and bed room from 60th years of last century. And there was more as you can see on pictures, or better when you`ll go there.
The third floor is an paradise for the VW beatle lovers. You will go throug the history of that famouse car. That was actualy that best part of museum for all of us, girls and boys have been fascinated with that exhibition. Engoy on the pictures.
When you are done with museum you will be probably hungry. Also those people runing the museum, they have been thinking abouth that. So just next to exit from museum is entrance to restaurant, where you can have a nice plate of deliciuse meal. I will tell you secret, but psst don`t tell to anyone. The best local food in the region is Zwiebelrostbraten :) . And do not forget to have a beer with your meal. It's such a tradition here. And do not wory, you can drive the car after you drink one beer in here.
So when you are ready with your meal and museum you will bee probably already tired so you will take the road home. Or if you have not enough of action for today you can go to visit thermal baths in Überlingen.
