I recently been a little dramatic about the sudden changes of interests in life lately. It’s normal people, because we always strive for something new in our track of life. But nothing beats my love and interests to travel… it’s always a constant and worthy thing in my life.
What’s up my dear Hiver’s! This is #xoloveshoney and I’m sharing another travel blog about a certain place here in Cebu, Philippines. This place is not too hype compared to other travel destinations but guess what, it’s relaxing! Meaning it is a mountain vibe with fresh air.
A great escape from the hassle and bustle of our busy lives. experience the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure here at the beautiful Resort. Well, this is one of the pioneering yet still among the most visited attractions in Gaas Balamban is the JVR Island in the Sky Resort, also known as Sky Mountain Resort Island Skyview Resort - JVR
Enjoy an exciting walk by crossing its colorful hanging bridge leading you to another fun-filled and exhilarating cable car. And with the resort practically sitting atop the mountainous portion of Balamban, you surely get to feel the cool breeze and witness the lush green scenery!
Entrance fee is only P50 for adults and P25 for kids. It’s affordable right? Travelling doesn’t always mean or need to be costly. It still depends on what you prioritize and how well you plan, travel can be inexpensive or costly. It will be extremely expensive if you decide to travel at the last minute to a well-liked location over a holiday weekend. However, you may save considerable amounts of money if you're prepared to be flexible with dates and locations and look into more affordable housing, meals, and entertainment options.
It’s always a matter of choice dear…
How was my experience here?
Well, my idea of travel is to relax and explore nature then that’s exactly what I got when I visited this place. At first, I didn’t expect that much since the view from the outside of the resort is not too pleasing for me but when I enter the place I was amazed by it’s scenery. It is full of plants, flowers, gazebo and they also offer activities as what I mentioned like hanging bridge and cable car.
In my entire life, this is my first time to try riding a cable car. I am a bit scared because of the height but I was mesmerized by it’s fantastic view. It was such an amazing experience that I even neglected to snap a ton of photos when I was riding the cable car, as that's what it takes to have a beautiful view. And yeah! Soon, I wanted to try again a cable car ride.
This is also another story to fight for your fears and that is the Hanging Bridge. It’s too funny that I wasn’t able to completely cross the bridge because I was overpowered by my fears and imagination thinking that it might fall apart. What a colorful bridge it is but when you look on the downside, My God it’s too high! Additionally, each step you take across the bridge causes your foot to tremble hahaha. It’s just me my dear hiver’s and my nervous system! But surely, I still wish to go back there and to conquer my fear. Swear I’m gonna cross that bridge without any hesitations. Another goal, another milestone, another fears unlocked.
And yes! It’s always me and my instagrammable pictures. A travel story wouldn’t be complete without the stunning pictures. I really love to capture the beauty of the place that I am visiting. It is very nice to look back on the pictures taken from places. It brings memories back, like to mood you are in that time, the fragrant of the place, and general feelings you invested. Somehow, it’s literally the moment we capture captivates our soul.
The finest part of traveling is experiencing hunger while engaging in various activities. I really got hungry touring around the place and experiencing different activities. Good thing I found a really good food inside the resort, they even offer Korean cuisine. So I ordered a Tteokbokki with egg, Kimchi jjigae, and a chopsuey. It was all a delicious food! How I wish I got a chance to taste some of their menus but I already got full.
Overall, it was a good experience and I really wanted to go back there in time. I enjoyed the ride going there because you can see a road surrounded by tall trees, it made your eyes relaxed. It might be an awful experience for some due to long hours of drive but not for me as per experience. Maybe it depends on how we take or enjoy the moments while on the long drive. Put a music on and jive with it.
Don’t waste a single moment because life is too short!
ENJOY!
