Rise and shine Hiver’s! This is me again, your #xoloveshoney 😊 It’s been a while, it’s like 5months since the last blog I posted here and I truly misses this community which made me realized that this platform or the blogging has already been part of me and now it makes me so much happy while typing my thoughts. It is good to be back and excited to share with you all how amazing our life can be…
Today, I will be sharing with you a place I recently visited and it is my first time to witness such a beautiful place hidden just in the southern part of Cebu. This place is called Ka Treasure Mountain Resort which is located at Catang, Argao, Cebu City the estimated travel distance is 72km away from Cebu City and you can travel it 10-15mins from Argao proper.
I went there with my husband since he just got home and having his shore leave for a month. It was easy for us to get there by motorcycle and by just using a google map to guide us for the location. Upon looking at the place it is quiet, peaceful, and nature friendly place that I could say… it is perfect to someone who wanted to relax and unwind with nature.
The all-over swimming area looks like or inspired from the very well-known agricultural fields in Ifugao province called The Rice Terraces which makes it unique. The water is so refreshing because it came from a spring, it is cold and flowing and we really enjoyed staying in the water in a couple of hours. It really takes away the heat and tiredness from riding. What catches my eye is that the resort is not crowded at all compared to the usual tourist spots we often see in Cebu. You could really feel the serenity of the place,.the sound of the flowing water, the fresh air from the surrounding trees and the view of the mountains embracing the resort made it even more relaxing.
As for the amenities, Ka Treasure Mountain Resort has cottages where visitors can stay and take note... those are affordable from 300 pesos. The cottages are simple yet enough to give you shade and comfort after enjoying the cold water. They also allow you to bring your own food so basically it’s not a problem at all, which is perfect for families or barkadas who want to bond over a picnic. Since we came by motorcycle, we only brought light snacks and drinks, but I could imagine how fun it would be to share a full meal with loved ones while surrounded by nature.
It made me realized how truly beautiful the nature is and I also appreciate some of those resort owners who tried to make business while preserving the nature and the environment because for me, that makes the place more magical.
What’s even more amazing is how affordable the entrance fee is. With just a minimal amount, a 100 pesos you already get to enjoy such a priceless experience that is far from the noise of the city and away from the busy crowd. For me, it’s not just about the money you save, but the relationship with nature and spending quality time with the people you love.
Another thing that I personally admired is the staff. They were the resort owners who are very accommodating and approachable which you could say that they are always ready to answer questions or guide visitors around the place. Their hospitality makes us feel more welcomed and I’m pretty sure that soon I will come back to this place.
I am grateful to have discovered this spot and I’m happy to share it with you, my Hiver’s family. 💛 Life is indeed more beautiful right? Let us take time to appreciate nature’s treasures and the resort itself “Ka Treasure Mountain Resort” is one proof of that.
