How was your weekend?
I had a great weekend with my friends camping together, enjoying the fresh air of the mountains to the fullest. After a busy and tiring working week, we made an appointment to go to Hai Van pass on Saturday night. Because many people in my team are still working, so we left after work at 5:00 PM from the center of Da Nang city.
Hai Van Pass is a pass located between Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province, about 20km from Da Nang city, is considered one of the most beautiful coastal passes in the world with one side being the blue sea and the other side being mountains and forests. With magnificent and majestic beauty, this place is an ideal destination for tourists who love to be passionate about winding roads and exploring nature.
And I am fortunate to live in this city of Da Nang, with so many beautiful sights, and Hai Van is a place that seems to be very familiar to me over the years as it is also the place where we spend every weekend. You can camp overnight, or you can ride a motorbike from the city to come here just to drink a cup of coffee, admire the scenery and then return to the city.
The place we camped is located near the top of Hai Van pass, with a mountain on one side and the sea on the other, and it's close to the city, so it's also very convenient for traveling and enjoying the cool air on weekends.
As for the food, we don't have too much time to prepare because we are busy with work, so we choose to buy ready-made food, and the dishes have been pre-prepared at home so that when we arrive, we can start to bake and enjoy the dinner. You need to put it on the stove and bake it. That saves us a lot of time and also allows us to enjoy things quickly.
We made an appointment to start in the city center by motorbike, run along the Nguyen Tat Thanh sea road and start going up the pass, the road zigzags along the mountainside, big and wide, the bends bring a very interesting feeling to the driver. Near the top of the pass, there is a dirt road inside, we follow the small road, although it is a bit difficult to go due to the dirt road interspersed with rocks, do not make it difficult for our steering wheel, and though I'm a girl, I can still run through this road with a steady hand. Around 6:00 PM we reached our campsite. In the early days of winter, the sunset was very early, we couldn't see the sunset, but in return, but in return, we get to see the moon rising from the sea in the distance, so camping under the dim moonlight was also an experience interesting experience.
The location where we set up camp in a small and empty field, surrounded by the shade of tall pine trees. Because it's dark, we can't see the majestic scenery of this pass, so we will enjoy the cool fresh air in this mountain and forest that can't be found under the bustling city. We started grilling meat with the charcoal stove that we brought, along with endless chattering stories, sharing with each other the joys and sorrows of a hard week.
We gathered around the fire, when the temperature started to drop, bit's starting to get cold, it felt great to be able to relieve the fatigue and pressure of daily life with a camping trip like this, and have a few glasses of wine together, a few cans of cold beer, watch the moonlight escape hidden by the mist that covers the top of this mountain together.
The next morning, we packed up our tents when the sun started to rise and the sun begins to shine down, making the temperature gradually increase. The rays of the morning sun melt away clear away the fog, melt away the dew drops that are still lingering on the leaves, and are the rays of the beginning of a new day. After packing, we chose to go to the top of the pass to enjoy the morning with cups of coffee.
When the sun rises, the clear blue sky reflects on the sea surface creating a blue color. We enjoy the morning with a cup of coffee, with the cool fresh weather, taking advantage of this wonderful atmosphere before returning to the bustling city.
Nature gives us attractive landscapes, with trees, with winding roads, with fresh air in the mountains, and for nature lovers like us, a camping trip overnight for a weekend like this is great, helps relieve all work and life stress, helps each person have more motivation to start a new week with full energy to work most effectively.
