Hello Hiver!
Another busy weekend, and is replaced by weekends so that we can rest, have fun and relax to make up for the busy days before. Hope you have a great weekend with your family and friends.
Today, follow me to watch the sunset at a very wonderful place, with rivers, mountains, trees, and charming scenery, that is the bank of Cu De river. Cu De River, also known as Truong Dinh River, but because Cu De's name is quite easy to hear and better, people have used this name until now. It is located in the northwest of Da Nang city, more than 30km from the center of Da Nang city, in Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, and this is also a place chosen by many young people to camp overnight because It is very beautiful with green grass, with a river full of water in all four seasons, clear, far away from the surrounding mountains, and especially it is quite close to the city.
This river is made up of two tributaries of the North and South rivers, originating from the majestic Truong Son mountain range, with a length of about 38km in the territory of Hoa Bac commune, and flows to the Nam O Thuoc sea mouth, Hoa Hiep commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city. And we chose a beautiful day to come up here to watch the sunset.
We are bstarting to travel by motorbike at 3:00 PM, from under the city along the coast of Nguyen Tat Thanh, then across Nam O bridge we turned into the territory of Hoa Bac commune. The motorbikes on the zigzag concrete road with two sides are tall, green sugar cane fields of the people. Here, sugarcane is the most planted crop, to sell to traders serving in the city and other provinces, to make sugarcane juice, or cane sugar, molasses... and it has very high economic value. After about 45 minutes, we got there. After going through the sugar cane fields, we chose an empty field covered with a green lawn by the riverside, quiet surroundings, and can enjoy the charming river scenery in the most perfect way.
On the opposite side of the river, there are green flowers such as beans, potatoes, and vegetables such as melons, gourds, squash, bitter melon... both to provide food for the family and sell at markets to earn extra income. People often plant them along the riverbank because the alluvial soil that the water brings to them helps the plants to grow all year round without needing much fertilizer and care. Here, we seem to be living in a different space, with the familiar scenery of a quiet and peaceful village, breathing in the cool fresh air of a late autumn day, different from the city. bustling and noisy, but only more than 30km away.
We started setting up ready-to-eat food in the city center. Because we do not camp overnight, ready-to-eat food is the most favorable choice, so as not to waste too much time. The sky is still sunny at this time, the weak rays of the end of the day shine on the river, shining with golden colors. The water in the river is very clear, we can see the images of the mountains, the sun, the sunlight reflected on the water surface, just like a picture that people painted it. Such a wonderful scene, so perfect that it's hard to describe. It gives us a feeling of peace and serenity, helping us to forget the fatigue of work quickly, like a medicine that can remove all the pressures of daily life that we have to face, drifting along the clear water that flows to the vast sea... We admire this beauty together, the rambling stories of life make the picnic more fun than ever, together with drink a few cans of beer, a few cans of soft drink, share the interesting stories of a week passed with both joy and hard work.
While we were talking, a dog from the homestay next door approached us. Because it is used to strange tourists at its place, it is not shy or afraid to visit us, on the contrary, it is very friendly and cute. So we got some very nice pictures with this unknown "friend", and the lovely dog happily cooperated. We gave him food, big sausages and he happily accepted everything and watched the sunset with us until we left the place.
The sun began to gradually move down behind the mountain, the sky changed from orange to red, dyeing a bright red color of a corner of the sky, blending with the majestic mountains and forests to create a wonderful scene that I loved. I think in this city there is no place where you can watch a beautiful and perfect sunset like here. The flocks of birds and storks hurriedly returned to their nests after a long day of wandering around without food.
The surroundings began to darken, giving way to the bright sky of the day for the quiet night. The black sky is twinkled by the star Kim and the small moon as a highlight for the night sky to be more shimmering and fanciful. I thought it would be a quiet and peaceful scene at night, but now, around us began to hear the cries of animals, such as frogs, frogs, crickets... The night begins to come out of their caves and nests to feed themselves, the typical sounds of the Vietnamese countryside that are hard to hear in the city with high-rise buildings and bustling streets. The atmosphere seemed to be bustling with those screams, and thanks to it, we were also partly happy to end this picnic.
We started cleaning things up because it was already dark, it was around 7:00 PM. We left this beautiful riverbank, returning to a quiet space for frogs, crickets... to freely roam around without worrying about anything. End the picnic watching the beautiful sunset in this countryside, and we return to life in the bustling city, promising to return here one day soon.
Thank you for following my post today, and have a great weekend!!!
