Si eres fans de los paseos, playas y vacaciones hoteleras; es un placer compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en el resort Meliá Jardines del Rey ubicado en el archipiélago de mi ciudad Ciego de Ávila, en Cuba 🇨🇺. ¡Acompáñame en este maravilloso recorrido 😉!
To start the tour, I'll tell you that booking the hotel was a bit complicated. From my country, it's very difficult to secure a stay because there's a lot of local demand from people on the island booking in the national currency (CUP). Because of this, the two summer months of July and August get booked up instantly.
You have to make reservations through international agencies months in advance. Thanks to a friend who lives in the United States, I was able to send him $245 USD in USDT cryptocurrency. He, from there, used the Central de Reservas company to book 4 days at the Meliá Jardines del Rey resort for me, my partner 
Para empezar el recorrido, les comentaré que la reservación del hotel, fue un poco complicada pues desde mi país es muy difícil, obtener la estancia debido a qué hay mucho público nacional realizando reservas desde la isla en la moneda nacional (CUP) y pues se agotan estos dos meses de verano Julio y Agosto al instante.
Se deben hacer las reservas en agencias internacionales con meses de antelación. Gracias a una amistad que vive en Estados Unidos pude enviar 245 Usd en criptomonedas de USDT y él desde allá por la compañía de Central de Reservas logró sacar 4 días en el resort Meliá Jardines del Rey junto a mi pareja
To get to the hotel, we arrived on one of the air-conditioned and comfortable buses from the Gaviota chain, which are used for employees of the Marina Hemingway and the Cayo Coco dolphinarium.
We arrived between 8:30 - 9:00 am, a special time slot to present our reservation tickets and early for the arrival of tourists.
Para trasladarnos al hotel, llegamos en uno de los ómnibus de la cadena Gaviota, climatizado y confortable para los trabajadores de la Marina Hemingway y del delfinario de Cayo Coco.
Llegamos en un horario de 8:30 - 9:00 am especial para presentar los boletos de reservación y temprano para la llegada de turistas.
The resort was very tranquil and spacious, located right on the front line with the white sands of Playa Flamenco.
It boasts large areas for celebrating honeymoons, weddings, and other events, and its entertainment offerings make it the ideal place to live an unmatched family experience.
La instalación estaba bien tranquila y espaciosa ubicando en primera línea con las arenas blancas de playa flamenco.
Presume de grandes espacios para celebrar lunas de miel, bodas y otros eventos y su propuesta de animación lo convierten en el sitio idóneo para vivir una experiencia familiar inigualable.
The collective of customer service workers at the reception was quite pleasant, even though we had problems checking into the hotel. This was because the agency I had booked with had not sent the payment.
Fortunately, with the help of a friend and the resort staff, the conflict was resolved in less than 1 hour—it was all a mistake on the website's part.
El colectivo de trabajadores de atención el cliente de recepción, fue bastante agradable, a pesar de tener problemas al entrar al hotel, pues el pago por la agencia donde había reservado no había enviado el dinero.
Por suerte, con la ayuda de una amistad y el personal del resort resolvieron el conflicto en menos de 1 hora, todo fue un error de la página.
On the right side, it features a 24-hour lobby bar, plus two swimming pools, an ice cream parlor, and a ranchón on the beach. The Mojito Bar, which is located near the lobby, includes a cigar bar. There's also a barbecue spot situated in one of the gazebos and a pizzeria open from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
Tired from the trip, we decided to sit down, get some air, and enjoy a delicious coffee ☕️. The next photos were hilarious LOL—I felt like a millionaire! They loaded our luggage onto a minivan and gave us a lovely tour of the entire resort, which was absolutely charming.
The very friendly bellhop helped us carry our luggage all the way to the room.
Cuenta a la derecha con un lobby bar de servicio de 24h, además dos piscinas, una heladeria y un ranchon playa, el bar mojito q este queda situado cerca del lobby abarca un cigar bar, también con un barbikiu situado en una de las oficinas y una pizzería abierta en los horario de 12:30 a 2 pm.
Al venir cansado del viaje, decidimos sentarnos, tomar aire y disfrutar de un rico café ☕️. Las siguientes fotos fueron divertidas Jajaja lol, me sentí millonario, nos cargaron la maleta a un Minivan y nos dieron un bonito paseo por toda la instalación que fue encantador.
El maletero muy amable nos ayudó a llevar el equipaje hasta la habitación.
The room was a classic with a garden view, captivating with its fresh design that highlights its brightness and comfort. It features a vestibule area, a balcony, air conditioning, a bathroom with amenities, a TV with satellite channels, and a minibar.
La Habitación era clásica con su vista al jardín, cautivada por su fresco diseño que resalta su luminosidad y confort. Cuenta con sus espacios de vestíbulos, balcón, su aire acondicionado, baño con sus utensilios, TV con canales vía satélite y minibar.
After changing clothes, we decided to go for a walk to see its internal centers. We came across a legend/map of the hotel that shows everything the resort has to offer. As you can see, it's huge and extensive.
The first tour was simple: we saw the children's playroom, the architecture of the rooms, and enjoyed the tropical weather.
Al cambiarnos de ropa, decidimos pasear a ver sus centros internos. Coincidimos con una leyenda del hotel donde muestra todo lo que nos ofrece el espacio hotelero, como pueden ver es enorme y extenso.
El primer recorrido fue sencillo, por la sala de juegos para niños, la arquitectura de las habitaciones y el clima tropical.
As you can see, my two Labubus plushies 😁 are accompanying me on vacation. I took some fun and cute pictures of them; their colors really stood out against the beachy tones of the environment.
Como pueden ver, me acompañan mis dos mascotas de Labubus 😁 a las vacaciones, el cual le tome algunas fotos divertidas y bonitas, sus colores resaltaban con los tonos playeros del ambiente.
A varied proposal of Cuban and international cuisine is available at the buffet restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
There are also other à la carte restaurant options that are reserved one day in advance: the Creole, the Italian, and the international restaurant, all offering a wide variety of exquisite dishes. All the spaces are air-conditioned and connected near the lobby or via the boulevard in its surroundings.
Variada propuesta gastronómica cubana e internacional en el restaurant bufet, que ofrece desayuna, almuerzo y cena.
También hay otras opciones de restaurantes a la carta que se reservan con un día de anticipación, el criollo, el italiano y el internacional brindando una gran variedad de exquisitos platos. Todos los espacios son climatizado y conectado cerca del lobby o por el boulevar a sus alrededores.
Moving on to the beach area, the atmosphere is ideal for those looking to relax, enjoy the Cuban sun, an excellent SPA massage service with wellness treatments that may have an additional cost, and a ranchón on the beach with excellent offers for clients.
Pasando a la parte de la playa, el ambiente es ideal para quienes buscan relajarse, disfrutar del sol de cuba, de un excelente servicio de masaje SPA con tratamientos de bienestar que pueden tener algún costo adicional y un ranchón playa con excelentes ofertas al cliente.
Well, and if we're talking about the cayos (keys), the beach was a must—famous for its white sands and crystal-clear waters.
If you walk along the sand, you'll notice abundant marine life and various species like crabs and macaos.
Bueno y si hablamos de cayos, no podía faltar la playa, famosa por sus arenas blancas y aguas cristalinas.
Si caminas por la arena notarán una abundante naturaleza marina y varios ejemplares como cangrejos y macaos.
Among the photographs I took, I tried to represent our HIVE blockchain and leave its mark on the beach.
I also created some designs in the sand for the Labubus plushies, where the blue "Hope" version fit perfectly with the panoramic contrast of the sea.
Entre las tomas fotográficas que realice trate de representar a nuestra blockchain HIVE y dejar la huella en la playa.
Además de crear diseños en la arena para los Labubus, donde la versión hope el azul, encajaba perfectamente con el contraste panorámico del Mar.
The pool area is super large and is divided into two sections, one on the left and one on the right of the boulevard. In total, there are 5 pools: 2 for entertainment, which have a swim-up bar, music, and various all-inclusive drink offers; 2 for children; and 1 for quiet relaxation. There are also sun loungers and shaded areas all around.
La zona piscina es súper grande, está dividida en dos secciones, una a la izquierda y otra a la derecha del boulevar. En total 5 piscinas: 2 para entretenimiento que cuentan con bar en el agua, música y distintas ofertas de bebidas todo incluido , 2 para niños y una para descanso tranquilo. Además de tumbonas y zonas de sombra alrededor.
As you can see, the place is relaxing and delightful—it feels great to spend several days away from the daily routine and work.
Como pueden observar el lugar es relajante y da gusto, estar varios días fuera de la rutina y trabajo diario.
The "Auténtica" bar, specializing in Cuban drinks, was not open to the public because there weren't enough guests to have the bar active. The resort contains 6 bars in total, and 3 were in operation, offering classic Caribbean drinks like Mojito, Piña Colada, Daiquiri, and Sex on the Beach.
El bar Auténtica de bebida cubana, no estaba abierto al público debido a que no había suficientes clientes para tener el bar activo. Ya que contiene 6 bares y 3 estaban en funcionamiento ofreciendo las clásicas bebidas del caribe, mojito, Piña colada, daikiri y sex and beach.
The hotel theater offered nightly shows every day starting at 9:00 PM, featuring various circus acts, dances, comedy, magic, and fashion modeling. They also included drinks and cocktails during the performance.
Later into the night, they played music and had entertainment that was quite popular, lasting as long as the guests desired, with the 24-hour bar available.
El teatro del hotel ofrecía espectáculos nocturnos todos los días a partir de las 9 de la noche, con diversas agrupaciones de circo, bailes, humor, magia y modelaje de ropas. También incluían bebidas y cócteles durante la actuación.
Ya llegando la madrugada, ponían música y animación bastante aceptada hasta que deseará el cliente con el bar 24 horas.
To conclude, its buildings feature a contemporary style and a boulevard that stretches from the Lobby all the way to the beach, where the main attractions are located: restaurants, activities, crafts, and games, among others. The Meliá Jardines del Rey Hotel offers the utmost comfort within the tourist hub of Cayo Coco, considered a natural paradise.
Its dreamlike beaches and rich biodiversity, both on land and in the sea, have made it one of Cuba's best beach destinations—ideal for those seeking relaxation on the beach and a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.
Para finalizar, su edificios contienen un estilo contemporáneo y un boulevard que se extiende desde el Lobby hasta la playa, donde se encuentran las principales atracciones: restaurantes, actividades, artesanías y juegos, entre otros, el Hotel Meliá Jardines del Rey ofrece el más pleno confort desde el polo turístico de Cayo Coco, considerado un paraíso natural.
Sus playas de ensueño y su rica biodiversidad, tanto terrestre como marina, lo han convertido en uno de los mejores destinos de playa de Cuba, ideal para quienes buscan relax en la playa y ambiente tranquilo fuera de bullicio.
