We were invited to our friend's wedding in Loznica, a beautiful town in western Serbia. Loznica lies on the right bank of the Drina river.Drina is just amazing river.
We had a really great time there but what impressed me a lot was a river Drina, where the groom and the bride took beautiful photos.The place they chose for taking photos is called The sunny river or Suncana reka.
In a beautiful environment at the place where the mountain and river air meet, on the banks of the Drina river at the foot of the historic mountain Gučevo, in the part of Banja Koviljača, there is the ethnic village "Sunčana reka", an ideal place for lovers of nature, good times and local cuisine with plenty of fish and local specialties.
Sunny river covers enormous land and is a unique oasis for rest, relaxation, sports and recreation, which is needed by people who are burdened with daily responsibilities.
You can find rich facilities such as: wellness program, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as small and large football fields, artificial rock, boating on the Drina River, boating and rafting on Lake Zvorniki, horse-drawn carriage, horse riding, quad biking, archery and with an arrow, orienteering in nature, Šotrina beach, Biba beach, "Gardens of the Sun" beach, "Drina through the ages" museum exhibition, "Sretenja Gospodnji" temple, "K'o Nekad" villages, cheerful courtyard, large parking lot for about 1000 vehicles...
