De seguro has escuchado hablar de Medellín y si no, no te preocupes, te voy a contar todo lo que he vivido en esta maravillosa ciudad para que te animes a venir y dar una vulta por esta ciudad, para que conozcas la calidad de seres humanos que hay acá y disfrutes de una deliciosa bandeja paisa (Un plato típico de la ciudad). De seguro no te arrepentirás de este lugar.
Empecemos nuestro recorrido por ese magnífico lugar.
Algo que me impresiono desde siempre es el compromiso de la ciudad por la innovación, la ciencia y la tecnología. En 2013 Medellín fue designada como la ciudad más innovadora del mundo en el concurso City of the Year y esto lo demuestran con el Parque Explora. Este parque es dedicado a la ciencia y la tecnología pero al mismo tiempo es interactivo y temático lo cual lo hace un lugar asombroso no solo para los amantes de la ciencia, incluso si sabes poco de ciencia como yo te divertirás muchisimo al interactuar con todas las peculiaridades que trae la ciencia. Este parque es fantástico.
Medellín poseé varios museos enfocados en temas diferentes pero cabe resaltar el museo de Antioquia. Incluye pinturas, esculturas, dibujos, fotos, arte precolombino, arte religioso, arte gráfico, cerámica precolombina y posterior, mobiliario, numismática, piezas históricas y colección bibliográfica. Sin duda es como sentir que recorres la historia no solo de Medellín, sino también de Colombia. No puedes venir a Medellín sin darte una vuelta por este museo, es algo de otro mundo.
No nos podemos olvidar de la naturaleza y sin dudo Medellín tampoco lo hace. El Jardín Botánico es un lugar perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza y desconectarte de las cosas del mundo que tanto nos preocupan a diario. Sus espacios incluyen bosque tropical, jardín de palmas, jardín del desierto, huerto medicinal, laguna, patio de azaleas, jardín vertical y los Jardines del Orquideorama, con orquídeas, bromelias y helechos. El lugar perfecto para aquellos amantes de la naturaleza.

Por último pero no menos importante es la calidad humana que hay en este lugar. Las personas te tratan como si fueras de su casa, te dan su ayuda sin pedirla, te dicen que estan para servirte pero no se queda en palabras, de verdad te ofrecen sus servicios y se preocupan por ti de verdad. De verdad la gente de acá es asombrosa, te sentís acompañado, motivado y pleno.
Siempre diré que vale la pena venir a Medellín.

Something that has always impressed me is the city's commitment to innovation, science and technology. In 2013 Medellin was designated as the most innovative city in the world in the City of the Year contest and this is demonstrated by the Parque Explora. This park is dedicated to science and technology but at the same time it is interactive and thematic which makes it an amazing place not only for science lovers, even if you know little about science like me you will have a lot of fun interacting with all the peculiarities that science brings. This park is fantastic.
Medellin has several museums focused on different themes but it is worth mentioning the museum of Antioquia. It includes paintings, sculptures, drawings, photos, pre-Columbian art, religious art, graphic art, pre-Columbian and later ceramics, furniture, numismatics, historical pieces and a bibliographic collection. It is undoubtedly like feeling that you are traveling through the history not only of Medellín, but also of Colombia. You can not come to Medellin without taking a tour of this museum, it is something from another world.
We can't forget about nature and no doubt Medellin doesn't either. The Botanical Garden is a perfect place to connect with nature and disconnect from the things of the world that worry us so much on a daily basis. Its spaces include tropical forest, palm garden, desert garden, medicinal garden, lagoon, azalea patio, vertical garden and the Orquideorama Gardens, with orchids, bromeliads and ferns. The perfect place for nature lovers.

Last but not least is the human quality in this place. People treat you as if you were from home, they give you their help without asking for it, they tell you that they are here to serve you but it is not just words, they really offer you their services and they really care about you. Truly the people here are amazing, you feel accompanied, motivated and fulfilled.
I will always say that it is worth coming to Medellín.
