There are two must-visit places in Yangon for Buddhists all over the world, one of which is SULE PAGODA. Why is that? I also just found out that this pagoda is very important for Buddhists, because it turns out that there is a part of Buddha's property that is stored in this pagoda.
Sule Pagoda is so important that on the way to this place, we saw a group that seemed to have come to Sule Pagoda to worship even though they came from another country. I saw them at the airport and had time to see their passport covers which were also from Indonesia.
This pagoda is right in the middle of the city, a reference for the layout of Yangon city from the past to the present. There are many interesting places around Sule Pagoda, including the central government building. Of course, Sule Pagoda is very important for this country.
Sule Pagoda is a building that is shaped like a stupa, tapering upwards and its dome is covered in real gold. Its splendor even exceeds other buildings among the large buildings around, of course because it is covered in gold and this building is more than 2500 years old. That’s so amazing!
This morning so many people have come and start to pray express their wishes and hopes. The atmosphere is so quiet, beautiful, peaceful and even many people are doing activities, silence always accompanies. So are the sounds like the ringing of bells, the beating of gongs and the voices of several people chanting prayers. So peaceful and calm.
There are many places used for praying, especially in front of the Buddha statues and the large ones are usually approached by many people who are sitting while holding their hands and closing their eyes while saying prayers.
There are also rooms that are specifically used, honestly I don’t know anything here because I can’t communicate with other people, even by some volunteers who work here, they can’t use any other language than Myanmar.
But it’s okay, I went around and while looking around Sule Pagoda, walked around the path that can be used by the general public while holding my attitude and voice so as not to disturb. That is etiquette if we go to someone else’s place of worship.
Sule Pagoda is indeed very close to the hotel in the city center, so just by walking, public transportation is difficult to get, so only use online taxis. However, Sule Pagoda is not difficult to reach.

Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
