Hello, dear Hivers! Are you familiar with the film series Pirates of the Caribbean with Captain Jack Sparrow as the protagonist portrayed by Johnny Depp? Have you seen the ship? I’ll be sharing with you today, our long-time adventure in Master’s Dragon Peak, providing a movie-like feeling. Master’s Dragon Peak is located in the Northern part of Cebu, Philippines, particularly in Sitio Mangga, Bili, Borbon, Cebu. This is owned by a mariner, a resident of the place. Why peak? It’s because this ship is sailing at the peak of the mountain!
This adventure happened during the pandemic era, and this was a treat from our Ate engineer after getting her first the world was already healing from COVID-19, everything was not that strict, and no more lockdowns, travel spots had been proliferating at that time. Tourist attractions from different places here in Cebu have been circulating online. As people sought overall well-being restoration at that time due to that very traumatic experience, Master’s Dragon Peak was one of those resting places.
These were the stamps we got after paying. The entrance fee is super affordable: 99 pesos for adults, 50 pesos for children and senior citizens, and free entrance for kids 7 years old and below. But during our visit, we got some discounts because Master’s Dragon Peak was giving that timeless entrance fee during their first weeks of opening. This was my first ever voyage after the COVID-19 crisis and I was just so happy that I was able to have some chance to get away with stress, because that was undeniably one of the most distressing episodes of our lives.
All you can see from the top is the greenery landscape, complemented by the cold breeze of fresh air. Bringing so much comfort in the eyes, peace of mind, with a grateful heart. Upon this visit, I didn’t just enjoy the place but I also got to reconnect with my friends from high school. Everyone at that time was longing and eager to be here because of the social media hype and the positive feedback from people after their visits. What you perceived is actually what you would see, and it's honestly more than what you expected.
For this adventure, I’m also with my two cousins, and his younger brother. We all had a great time with this get-together and we’re thankful since this is a free trip for the three of us.
You can take unlimited great photos here. As Master’s Dragon Peak became known in social media, this has been the venue of prenup shoots for weddings, photoshoots for birthdays, and so much more. With drone cameras, you’ll able to see how wonderful it looks on top.
