Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great!😊 A two days ago, I experienced something completely new: my very first European Water Polo Championship. What made it even more special was the fact that it took place in my hometown Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
This was also the first experience of this type for my nine year old son who was very excited to go. I bought tickets and surprised him. 😊
It was very cold outside and snowing. The match took place in the Belgrade Arena, a well-known venue for sport events and concerts.
When we arrived, my son was amazed by the Christmas decorations that were still there.
Lights were glowing everywhere, and the big panorama wheel stood nearby, slowly turning above the snowy streets.
I found it interesting to observe its colors.
Although I resisted liking it because it is the last thing our city needs, besides so many other things that unfortunately no one cares about, but watching my son rejoice in all those colors, I thought that this joy is the most important and the most beautiful.
There were positive vibes around, everyone was impatiently waiting for the first match in which our country played against the Netherlands.
The atmosphere at the match was incredible. We cheered loudly, stood together, and truly lived every moment of the match.
The energy in the arena was something worth experiencing. It was uncertain until the end and I was happy when we won, especially when I saw how happy my son was.
That feeling is unforgettable, being part of something bigger, sharing joy with many people who felt the same emotions.
We left there with a smile on our face, happy and grateful for another beautiful evening we spent together.
Thank you for reading.
