Near the Forest of Bojcin, which I wrote about in my previous post, there is a nautical village, the first of its kind in Serbia. The nautical village is located on the banks of the Sava River and consists of 16 houses on the water.
When we first arrived, we were surprised that such a place existed in our country. It's called Biser, which means pearl, because all these houses adorn the Sava River like pearls.
We walked along the river bank. My son was delighted with this place and wanted to see what it was like on the terrace of one of these houses, so we went down to one where there were no guests.
It was very hot weather. My son suggested that we rent one of the houses. The price is quite low, about 25 euros for a day. But we decided that it would be another time.
At that moment, I didn't like the idea of sleeping in a house that sways and isn't stable, but I like it when I fulfill my son's wish, so maybe we'll try it sometime.
At times we felt as if we were at sea.
Next to the river there is a spacious green area. Outdoor gym and children's facilities.
We had a great time there. In this place, the wind blows which is very refreshing and the climate is similar to the sea, so at times you really think that you are somewhere far away, on the seashore.
You can go fishing here if you want. But if you want to refresh yourself in the water, you will not be allowed to do so. Swimming in the river is not safe here.
Anyway, we had a great time walking. That was enough for us to have a relaxing and beautiful day by the river, far away from the city crowd and noise.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
