Yesterday, I was invited by a friend for a quick road trip to Busay here in Cebu city. Though I'd already been there a lot of times, I still couldn't say no to another experience, adventure, and thrill in that same place and twisty road. I think I left my heart at Busay years ago. Or, it was just the wanderer spirit in me that couldn't refuse a getaway invitation.
I was kinda bothered that the agreed trip might not be pulled off since it has been raining lately. But hell yeah, the universe was in our favor yesterday, the weather was fine. So, 'twas a go!
Our first stop was the famed little Strawberry farm of the place. It's Strawberry de Cantipla Eco Farm.
* * *
The entire area of the farm is just relatively small, but it still allocated ample space for safe parking. It's just a roadside so it's just much accessible.
At the its entrance, there is its little snack house that offers a wide array of food selections in Strawberry flavor. It's also there that you'll hand the entrance fee of Php 50.00 (1 USD) per head.
The farm is like a little homestead which grows native berries organically.
Also, it is open for strawberry picking that'll separately cost you Php 10.00/each. You just need to ask for a container for your freshly picks from the snack house.
Aside from strawberries, the farm grows ornamental plants that add color and vibrance to the scenery.
And alongside these blooms is the "I love Strawberry" letter sign, definitely the point from where you could take all-encompassing photographs.
During our time of visit, it was like we own the farm, we were the only guests, which gave us the opportunity to unlimitedly walk around freely and less anxiously.
After the 30-minute stroll, we went back to the snack house with our freshly picked berries. We had paid Php 80.00 for the 8 pcs. of picks. We also tried their Strawberry Milkshake, their best-selling we never could afford to miss.
This was my very first time visiting a Strawberry farm, like yes. And when all is said and done, this is a good place to experience in Busay especially for admirers of vegetation.
That's all for now. Thank you for the time.
'Til then!
