Today I will share with you some pictures of some old railway structures and beautiful railway lines in our area which I have explored through travel at various times.
I will tell about some old railway installations of Parbatipur Upazila. Earlier the British arrived in this area. This is the history before the division of the subcontinent. At that time, the British ruled different parts of the subcontinent. Parbatipur is one such place.
During the British period, many establishments were built in the subcontinent. The British extended railroads to many parts of the subcontinent, especially for fast transportation. This railway system made by the British is still running in many parts of our country.
Some of the railway structures and railway lines built by the British are now abandoned. At the end of Parbatipur Railway Station, there are some railway structures and railway lines which are now abandoned. But the structures are quite beautiful and they still stand as witnesses of history.
Such structures are quite nice to explore. These old railway lines and buildings give an idea of how the railway system and railway facilities were 50-60 years ago. There are some abandoned places In the last part of the present station. The ruined structures were probably the site of the former railway station. I heard it from people. Later the station was moved.
A railway line will be seen going to Adarsh College of Parbatipur. It is currently abandoned. A small area has been created along the railway line and some people live there. However, I did not know much about this railway line. But seeing such extensive railroads around it seems that the railroads here were quite important. However, most of the people do not know why they are now abandoned.
Again I am very interested in these and I like to visit these places. It is really exciting to explore the railway system developed by the British across the vast area of our region.
