Hello everyone, today I will share an exceptional adventure. I am so excited for sharing this experience with you guys. Four of us friends went to Marayang Tong last month. No guide is needed to get there. We started climbing the mountain with water and dry food. If you are confused somewhere, you can ask a local person to show you. And the whole road is available on google map, so we didn't have any problem.
It was very difficult to get here. The slower the rise the better. But we hardly took a break. It took us 1.5 hours. Now come to the main event. At 5:30 PM we summit Marayang Tong. It started raining before setting up the tent. After the rain stopped we finished pitching the tent. And that day there was a strong wind on the summit. As the night progressed, the cold continued to increase.
We were tensed so that the rain water did not enter the tent. At 4:30 pm it started raining heavily and after the water entered our tent we went out of the tent and took shelter next to an idol. The tent of another group next to us was broken by the wind in the night. So this advice will be that if any of you go here, take a waterproof tent. And set up the tent well.
We came down from there at 7 am. The landing time took 40 minutes. Went down and had breakfast and came back to Chittagong in the same way. And in the morning it was very cold there. We almost had a fever. So prepare well for the cold if anyone goes here.
We went from Khulna so our total cost per person was around 1700 in Bangladeshi Taka. You can also visit Ali's tunnel,Damtua Jharna, and Dim Hill.
Take a polythene bag to bring camping leftovers with you. And wherever you go, treat the locals well.
