This 75 miles of romantic coastline in southern French is also known as Côte d'Azur or "Coast of Blue." It began as a winter health resort for the British upper class at the end of the 18th century, today is the destination of wealthy and famous peoples. Karl Lagerfeld once said: "You were never told that Saint-Tropez is paradise?"
I visited Côte d'Azur twice, and every time I have this strange desired to throw my passport on the sea and pretend to be stuck in this place forever.
Enjoy!
Thank you for traveling with me!
This is part of my ongoing Travel Visualclips, where I shared a glimpse of my travel visuals and thought. Each series features a paragraph of the history of the place and a paragraph of my thought. Accompanied by no more than fifteen carefully curated images, each series is intended to give readers the umami of travel.
