My niece turned 12 years old on the 10th of February. We are used to celebrating her birthday in a beach or a resort because she loves swimming. So either pool or beach, she's definitely okay. Our initial plan was to have an overnight stay but we decided to just go for a day use because we can save we just have to go early to the resort. Our first option was Flower Beach Resort which we had been to a lot of times already.
But I thought maybe we should try out Anda Pearl Premier Resort, I called the numbers listed on their Facebook page and gladly, they still have their discounted promo! It's just Php 200 per adult while children age 8-15 is just Php 150 while those who are 7 below are free of charge! They also allow food to be brought in without corkage fees! Amazing! And so we decided to go there
However, on the day of my niece's birthday, when the food has been ordered and the cakes were paid, it rained and the skies were really dark, there's a low pressure so we told her we might just stay at home. We had been monitoring the skies and thankfully, it showed us some light so we decided to head to the resort at ten in the morning. It's still early.
Anda Pearl Premier Resort is located in Flower Road Brgy. Virgen, Anda, Bohol, Philippines. It's just a neighbor of Flower Beach Resort too so we are very familiar with the way here. The road going here is not concrete, it's a little bumpy but it is fine, our car, both Toyota Wigo were able to arrive safely, we just have to drive very slowly because we have a cake to take care of.
Upon entering the premises, we were guided by the guard who was friendly. The lobby was also comfy, there were other guests being entertained so we had to wait for a few minutes, that was actually quick and while our stuff were being unloaded from the car, we sat on these lounges.
Immediately, after the guests were showed to their table, we were entertained and since I called earlier that day about availing their day use, the front desk officer was already aware and just asked us to write our names and then pay for the entrance fees which was a total of Php 2150.
Matti was feeling good with this huge vintage case or more of a treasure chest. I wonder if there were stuff inside? Can you also see how huge the chairs are?
The resort allows bringing food from outside without corkage fees even if their restaurant is fully functional. This is just actually a promo until the 15th of this month. Once the promo ends, guests will be charged with corkage fees and entrance fees will be priced at Php 500 with Php 300 as consumable.
During our stay, there were other guests who came to dine in at their restaurant. It was an off season kind of week for them, there were only a few guests but that's good to our advantage.
We were then showed to where our table was located.
We first passed by their restaurant, then we went down on some steps towards where their pool is located. There was a playground on the right side and a huge Balete tree too! I heard there was a cave too near that tree. The accommodations are also located on the right side, there's a two storey building and beach front Bungalows.
We had to pass by the pool area. There's another staircase, with huge gaps beside the Bungalows going to the beach and there are four tables with chairs to accommodate day use customers. We opted for the first table.
This is a suspended kind of deck made of wood and painted with red water proof paint. It has a center bar and which has power outlets that we can use to charge our devices. The staff who accompanied us said power usage is free but there might be times when the power turns off, they were on a generator or so, I was not sure but they said they do have a generator set.
Before we could go swimming, we decided to eat first because it was almost noontime. The staff opened the umbrella and wiped the table too so we could place our food.
Here's a family group photo to start with. And we got two cakes for Zaila and Seth. There's also a Lechon Belly food package we ordered from a family friend.
There's a surprise for Zaila, her red velvet cake was actually a money cake with a few bucks of money inside, she had to pull the cricut birthday stand to get the cash out. Seth's cake was a chocolate ganache, both were ordered from Sticky Buns. I super appreciate that they were able to accommodate my request especially for the money cake. Their red velvet and the ganache were both yummy! Everyone loved it!
The lechon belly food package includes pork bola bola, chicken cordon bleu, lumpia shanghai, pancit, shrimps, pork ribs, and the lechon belly itself which was around five kilos. This all was worth Php 5900. We were satisfied with the order but we regret skipping the pork ribs and the bola bola since they were also pork.
Anyway, we ate a lot, it was a preparation for our swimming time. It drizzled a bit too while we were having lunch. Of course, we have to pray over the food before eating and pray over the birthday celebrants too, it was my father who did it.
Now, let's go and check out the pool area! Actually, we went to the beach first but for this blog, I decided to just share with you the pool first then the beach.
This is the view of the restaurant from the pool. They got beach lounges, there were so many, they can't fit on one wide angle photograph.
Let's take a wider shot instead from the side:
And this is how the pool look like from the lounges facing the beach, that's an infinity pool but it got several divisions. The one on the left has lounges submerged into the water, it is also next to the pool bar, which was not available at the meantime.
I believe there were five divisions and the water goes from the top level down to the fifth and the widest pool which has a view of the beach. Our family had to take the kids on the shallow area, they got 3.5 feet, 4 feet, and 5 feet pools.
Now let's move over to the beach! The photo below is how the beach look from the infinity pool.
This is a white sand beach and it is wide enough to accommodate a lot of guests. The sand is fine too and the waters was clear. I so love walking in the fine sand but there were many dead seaweeds on the shoreline. This is understandable because it has been raining for two days straight. When the weather is not good, the seaweeds are always seen in the shore.
There were staffs who tried cleaning them, taking the seaweeds out of the shore but there were more which were drifted by the waves. Still, that didn't take away the fact that the beach was nice.
From the waters, we could actually see the Flower Beach resort, that's where we usually go for swimming, we also took Matti's 10th month pictorial there.
We have to take advantage of the white sand, Matti and Zaila played with it and then went swimming again. I had to get Matti up to our table and feed him then he went again and swim once more, playing in the sand was a fun activity.
The water was so nice too but it was a little cold, the pool water was warmer so we spent more time there. The kids had fun, we all said we will surely come back before they end their promo on the 15th when the weather is better.
It was already past four when we headed back home. We were all satisfied with our stay in Anda Pearl Premier Resort, again, we will come back when the weather is nicer and sunny for better photos. Also, the husband didn't come with us because of work so hopefully, when we come again soon, he will join us.
Thanks for reading! If you happen to visit Bohol, you may consider staying in the resort too! It's quiet here, very peaceful, and the services and amenities are great!
