To us, there's no better place for us to heal our worries since we are just using one motorcycle, and then we are all in all 4. Most of the time, when we do this celebration, it's an unplanned decision since it's gonna happen.
Odlot Beach may not be as splendid or elegant as the other famous beaches in this country, but it surely deserves an honorable mention for its cleanliness, accessibility, and simplicity. Since Odlot Beach is one of the biggest public beaches in Bogo, Cebu, there are a lot of people during weekends and it is quite well-maintained by its Local Government Unit. It is a place that you will truly miss when you go there. It's very accessible to everyone who is planning to have beach summer this weekend.
Where is the Odlot Public Beach located?
Odlot Public Beach was named 'Odlot' because it is located on the very top part of Bogo City Cebu. The term Odlot means the uppermost portion of a plant or grass as defined by the Cebuano language. This small beach is available to any kind of vehicle, even just within a distance of a 30-minute ride away from the City of Bogo, which is the northernmost part of Cebu. It is open every day, day and night, but it is somewhat scary at night because there are no lights to sustain everybody over there; however, if you have a flashlight or any other kind of light, you can also bring them along for a night out. Many cottages populate this place; moreover, they, too, have electricity you can use.
The Beautiful Beach
Kids love to run and play around, looking for seashells on adorable white sand with bright seashores. Watching the children is easy since it is closely stretched by the sea. That is how conveniently we can look out for our children.
This water is crystal clear, and the waves are gentle: just the reason why we have chosen this beach.
Another thing that makes it even more beach-like is the presence of the coconut trees. Even if the shore is not straight, you will be able to tell the depth of the water by its color- from crystal clear to turquoise green to aqua blue.
For beach lovers who prefer swimming to lying on the beach in cottages, Odlot Public Beach is the favorite. Whether it is low tide or high tide, the depth of water is just perfect for swimming. It's one of the best places where one can heal all his worries.
The Cute Dog
When we were eating with my friends, there were a lot of Dogs surrounding us, but one dog captured my eye since it looked very beautiful. In the very first place, I didn't love animals, but as I saw this dog, my heart melted because the eyes of the dog while asking for food were pleasing, and I was very happy to see this kind of dog instead of just barking and barking but this dog is very good.
Fishing Boats
Another scenery that will catch your attention on the shore is the parades of the small fishing boat. With various colors, styles, and sizes one would think there is a " Boat display or show" going on. These fishing boats, painted with beautiful bright colors and designs, are owned by the villagers living near the beach. Counting the number of boats on the shore, one could interpret that almost all households in the Barangay own a boat. Undeniably, fishing is the main source of living in the area.
My Friends and I
Every time we went to different places, we usually took pictures with each other as a remembrance of our memorable time. The memories we created, the bond, and the laughter we shared will be cherished.
Every moment of us is counted. And we value our friendship since it's the greatest gift that we have.
Tips for Visiting Odlot Public Beach

Carry reusable water bottles to stay hydrated. Don't forget those towels, some clothes as well as a waterproof bag for your items.

Avoid littering by bringing a bag for your trash. It includes following any rules or regulations posted at the beach.
7. Visit Other Attractions Nearby
If there's leisure time left over, you can visit most other attractions around the beach or local sites to make your visit a bit richer.
