Hi Hivers! 🙂, this is my first time posting here, I want to share our family outing at Cebu Safari & Adventure Park.
Here is a short description of the Park.
More than a thousand animals representing 120 different species may be found at the 170-hectare Cebu Safari and Adventure Park, which was established by Michel J. Lhuillier and Eduard J. Loop. It is regarded as the Philippines' largest zoological park.
The Cebu Safari and Adventure Park in Barangay Corte, Carmen, safeguard a variety of flora and animal species. Its principal attractions include the African Savanna, Michelle's Garden, Gardens of the World, and the White Lion Safari. There is also a 1.3-kilometer zipline that is 671 meters above sea level.
From the Capital City of Cebu, reaching the park is 2 hours of travel time. For people who want to go to Cebu Safari & Adventure Park and are just commuting, it is advisable to know or contact their Park transportation to have a hassle-free journey.
Adults and children who are 3 feet (91 centimeters) or taller must pay 900 pesos for entrance on weekdays; 1,100 pesos is required on weekends and holidays. For kids between the heights of 2 feet (61 centimeters) and 3 feet, tickets are 450 pesos throughout the week and 550 pesos on weekends and holidays (91 centimeters). Children under 2 feet (61 cm) tall are admitted free of charge.
RULES & REGULATIONS
Before entering the Park we are held in a lobby for a briefing about the rules inside the Park, well basically it is a standard for almost all Amusement Centers such as this wonder Park to have Rules & Regulations
ADVENTURE BEGINS AFTER LUNCH :)
We arrived at the park at 11 AM and after the briefing, we decided to take our lunch first before we begin our adventure inside and meet the wonderful creatures. I must say they have good chiefs, their food was appetizing and delicious. Before you notice I can be rarely seen in these photos, obviously, I am the one taking pictures _.
"MEETING THE WILD" as my son said when we begin our long journey
The face of a very happy and excited adventurer, this is the energy he had when we first had our walk towards the first stop.
Passing along signs to where these animals are kept.
Our first stop is with these crocodiles, they are all gathered in a circular pit with a pond in the center.
Sunbathing or waiting for something to fall? lol. My son said, "Maybe they are waiting for Captain Hook".
Next Stop! MONKEYS
Maybe the heat made them hide that is why we only saw a few of them.
Sad to say the Hyenas are sleeping also. Still, he was happy just seeing them sleeping in their small cave which is really not visible from this angle.
Our next stop is their famous White Tiger which can be spotted in the center of the photo, the tiger is enjoying his time bathing.
We continued our journey and spent the whole day walking and as first-timers inside the Park, we were exhausted. For me, if you plan on going here better start early in the morning maybe 8 AM is best. A short break from time to time is really needed for this big park.
The following photos are our next stops.
These guys are just chilling and maybe talking about us, LOL.
These Tamarins are also hiding since the temperature is very hot for them.
These turtles are enjoying some vegies prepared for them by their caretaker.
Mr. Cheetah is guarding that one coconut I guess, or maybe enjoying the sunny day.
We love to feed these giraffes but rules are rules, taking pictures with them on the background is much better.
Mr. Peacock is lonely at the moment.
The birds are very wonderful to feed because they will just go near you when you enter the Aviary, they are enclosed in a dome-like structure where they can freely fly and find people to feed them.
The last stop riding an open bus-like vehicle and witnessing some Safari Wild Life.
PRICELESS
In the end, we enjoyed the day even though we are exhausted, all expenses are worth it, especially when you are together with your family. The priceless moment is when we spend our time with our loved ones.
We exited the Park at around 5:30 PM, hoping to be back for more adventure in the Park!
Never miss out on going here to CEBU SAFARI & ADVENTURE PARK when you visit the Philippines, especially Cebu!
