In the South West of Ireland, near the N68 Ennis-Kilrush road, there is a beautiful nature site that is part of the 30 acre Lissycasey Ecological Park. There is a 3.7 km walking route where we can see representatives of wild, Irish nature - e.g. a pine marten, which is rare in Ireland. There are also many rare plant species and you can exercise in the outdoor gym.
W południowo zachodniej Irlandii, w pobliżu drogi N68 Ennis-Kilrush znajduje się piękne przyrodnicze miejsce, które jest częscią 12 hektarowego Parku Ekologicznego Lissycasey. Znajduje się tam 3,7 km trasa spacerowa, na której możemy zobaczyć przedstawicieli dzikiej, irlandzkiej przyrody - np. kunę leśną, która w Irlandii jest rzadkością. Rośnie tu także wiele rzadko spotykanych gatunków roślin, a także można poćwiczyć na znajdującej się na zwenątrz siłowni.
It is amazing in Ireland that it is enough to drive a short distance by car and you suddenly find yourself somewhere with a lot of beautiful nature. I was very impressed with the magical forest there. It looked like a place from a fantasy world ... only elves or fairies were missing ... ;)
To jest niesamowite w Irlandii, że wystarczy przejechać małą odległość samochodem i człowiek znajduje się nagle gdzieś, gdzie jest dużo pięknej przyrody. Byłam pod ogromnym wrażeniem tamtejszego magicznego lasu. Wyglądał jak miejsce ze świata fantazji... brakowało tylko elfów, albo wróżek... ;)
The lowest layer of the undergrowth, covered with a huge amount of blue flowers - Bluebells, looked wonderful. You would like to spread a blanket there and drink tea and eat some treats, or go there on a romantic date.
Najniższa warstwa runa leśnego, pokryta ogromną ilością niebieskich kwiatów - Hiacyntowców wygladała cudownie. Aż chciałoby się rozłożyć tam koc i napić herbaty oraz zjeść jakieś smakołyki, albo wybrać się tam na romantyczną randkę.
And just beyond the woods, in the upper reaches of the Owenslieve River, you could see numerous waterfalls. For a long time we have watched the water flow with force over the rocks, and also how it continues to flow in the stream.
A tuż za lasem, w górnym biegu rzeki Owenslieve można było podziwiać liczne wodospady. Przez dłuższy czas obserwowaliśmy jak woda przepływa z impetem po skałach, a także jak płynie dalej strumieniem.
