There's another beautiful place in Slovakia that continues to preserve their winemaking tradition that is rooted for many years.
The place is named Stará Hora, a beautiful and peaceful village outside Sebechleby. A Slovak Heritage that offers good wine.
We had a quick visit to Stará Hora. When we arrived at that place. It's so peaceful and quiet. There are houses and inside of it has its wine cellar. Houses surrounded with trees and the open wine field.
When we visited the place, there's a lady who welcomed us in their village.
We all say to her Dobré Deň which means Good Afternoon. And so on they talked in Slovak. She welcomed us into her house and downstairs is the wine cellar. The lady told us we will go downstairs and be careful going down. I'm the last person who went down and the place was cold. My husband and the lady started to talk. There's a free Wine tasting. Different varieties and flavors of wines.
There's a free vine taste. My husband will try it and not too much coz he will drive a long way home. Hubby, Zoe and I tried their vine. And Aya says, "Hey , why don't I have it too?"
Then Aya asked permission from me and I will say No. But then, our girl asked Táto and he said Yes. But just a sip.
And the lady gave a wine glass with their homemade wine to Aya.
After a sip, hmm to je veľmi dobré víno.
In English it tastes good, the vine,Aya says.
They continued to talk about what my husband ordered for wine. And Aya on the side was dancing. I captured a video of her. Maybe its the effect of the wine. She's not even shy their a lady watching her.
The lady was filling up the bottles of wine. Then we go upstairs to cover it and put stickers on the bottles. Hubby paid it all and there are customers outside who want to buy wines.
That’s our short visit to Stará Hora. We drove away from Stará Hora with the clinking of bottles in the car. The village had left me the funniest memory of Aya's first taste of vine and then dancing is the cutest part.
Catch up for our next adventure.
Can’t wait to share it with you on our next trip. It’s in Múzeum skalné obydlia Brhlovce.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
