Lo primero que hice antes de emprender este viaje fue adquirir dólares por ser la moneda de curso legal del país, los bolívares solamente los utilice en el aeropuerto internacional Simón Bolívar antes de salir. Con la maleta preparada un poco de nervio y los boletos en manos estaba lista para ir a conocer por primera vez al hermano país Ecuador.
The first thing I did before embarking on this trip was to acquire dollars as it is the legal tender in that country, I only used the bolivars at the Simon Bolivar International Airport before leaving. With my suitcase ready, a little nervous and the tickets in my hands, I was ready to go to visit my brother country Ecuador for the first time.
Es muy emocionante abordar el avión y elegir un puesto en la ventanilla, para contemplar desde las alturas toda la hermosa naturaleza que nos rodea. Hicimos escala y mientras nos acercábamos pude admirar desde lejos todo el canal de Panamá y parte del mar caribe, les aseguro que es una espectacular vista. El vuelo se retraso por la lluvia, había mucha turbulencia, cuando llegue a Panamá me tocó salir corriendo para abordar el otro avión, estaban a punto de arrancar, se pueden imaginar verme corriendo por todo el aeropuerto y gritando permiso, permiso, apartando a toda la gente, porque solo escuchaba pasajeros con destino a Quito último llamado. Que susto! llegué justo a tiempo 😅
It is very exciting to board the plane and choose a seat at the window, to contemplate from the heights all the beautiful nature that surrounds us. We made a stopover and as we approached I could admire from afar the entire Panama Canal and part of the Caribbean Sea, I assure you that it is a spectacular view. The flight was delayed by the rain, there was a lot of turbulence, when I arrived in Panama I had to run to board the other plane, they were about to start, you can imagine me running all over the airport and shouting permission, permission, pushing all the people away, because I only heard passengers bound for Quito last call. What a scare! I arrived just in time 😅
Llegué a Ecuador después de medio día estaba súper agotada, pase muchas horas en el aeropuerto de Maiquetía esperando por el chequeo y luego la travesía en Panamá, de todas forma estaba cansada pero feliz de poder visitar este preciado país, al llegar me cautivo la ciudad con sus flores y jardines, subí a un bus y pude hospedarme en un pequeño departamento del sector la Carolina, es un lugar muy acogedor, alrededor hay muchos parques, jardines, lujosos centros comerciales, rutas de transporte, discos y otros lugares de entretenimiento.
I arrived in Ecuador after half a day I was super exhausted, I spent many hours at the airport in Maiquetia waiting for the check in and then the crossing in Panama, anyway I was tired but happy to visit this precious country, upon arrival I was captivated by the city with its flowers and gardens, I got on a bus and could stay in a small apartment in the Carolina sector, it is a very cozy place, around there are many parks, gardens, luxurious shopping centers, transportation routes, discos and other entertainment venues.
Fueron varios días de vacaciones y paseo fabulosamente increíbles, fui al supermercado para comprar los suministros necesarios, pude notar que algunas de las frutas tenían un sabor diferente a mi paladar y se comercializa gran cantidad de plátanos, por ser un país exportador de este rubro, la ciudad mantiene algunos diseños al estilo colonial, de vez en cuando puedes cruzarte con algún poblador que mantiene la vestimenta y dialecto étnico, los policías recorren el lugar montados en caballo, el clima es fresco a cualquier hora sobre todo en la noche que hace frío no olvides antes de salir llevar un suéter para abrigarte.

Llegó el día mas esperado, asistir a la plaza grande, en el centro histórico para presenciar el cambio de guardia, se realiza todos los lunes en la mañana, dónde la guardia presidencial después de tener una semana cuidando el recinto entrega el turno a los nuevos cuerpos de seguridad, es una ceremonia tradicional donde asiste gran parte de la población, turistas y comerciantes a vender bufandas, objetos artesanales, dulces y otros productos nacionales, se escuchan las notas del himno y en el palacio Carondelet se asoma el presidente de la República para dar un cordial saludo a los presentes. Después del cambio de guardia se desarrollan actividades artísticas y culturales todo un espectáculo para los espectadores.

Durante el recorrido en el centro histórico compré algunos llaveros y regalos para obsequiar a mis familiares y amigos después de regresar del viaje, en casi toda la zona hay muchas tiendas que exponen a la venta gran variedad de artículos artesanales; mas adelante encontraremos varias iglesias católicas, entre ellas la iglesia de San Francisco, destaca por su arquitectura colonial y arte barroco al estilo de los monasterios medievales, veras los hermosos detalles de construcción así como en en cada una de las piezas y esculturas que forman parte de esta estupenda obra de arte.

Uno de los lugares mas frecuentados por sus habitantes y turistas que no puedes perder de vista, es la mitad del mundo, es un sitio turístico con gran afluencia de visitantes uno de los monumentos más emblemáticos, es la torre Norte / Sur, con más de diez metros de altura, dónde se considera se divide la tierra en dos, según la teoría del aplanamiento de los polos y la división ecuatorial de la tierra, estableciendo la latitud "0" desde esta enorme torre puedes mirar la cuidad en todo su esplendor.

Realmente pude sentirme como en casa, al ritmo de la salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata y variedad musical y lo que no puedo olvidar es ese calor humano y buen recibimiento que caracteriza a los países caribeños, estoy ansiosa y con muchas ganas de poder viajar de nuevo y vivir la mágica experiencia se sentirme libremente Feliz 😍🙌
I could really feel at home, to the rhythm of salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata and musical variety and what I can not forget is that human warmth and good reception that characterizes the Caribbean countries, I am anxious and eager to travel again and live the magical experience to feel free and happy. 😍🙌
