Have you been in Miraflores - Lima? || Miraflores, destino turístico en Lima 🌅

Blessed day fellow travelers, I hope you are having a great weekend. Today I am in this community to share with you a beautiful trip I shared with my family a few weeks ago.

Since my mom and aunt traveled from Venezuela to share the Christmas holidays with us, my cousin and I agreed to take them on a trip to one of the most beautiful districts of the city of Lima; the Miraflores district in the south of the city.

Miraflores is an area south of the city that is characterized as the most modern, cleanest and most beautiful district of Lima. It has a cosmopolitan air due to the fact that it mixes very well the traditional and the modern and there is a lot of foreign influence since it is considered an excellent tourist destination due to its proximity to the sea and the pleasant climate.

Our walk began in a park called Parque Kennedy, better known as the park of the cats, because it is the refuge of many homeless cats. It is a very large park with many flowers adorning its passages; it is very crowded, many people gather there to enjoy the beautiful flowers, take their children to have fun with the rides and also to taste the variety of desserts that are usually sold in the surroundings.

It is a very nice place to visit, what we liked the most were the beautiful flowers of vibrant colors that are everywhere, so as we are all nature lovers and especially the flowers, we did not hesitate to sit very close to take several pictures and capture such a nice moment we were sharing.

At the end of the park is the Virgen Milagrosa Church, an old church that contrasts very well with the whole atmosphere of the park. This church opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday to offer masses at specific times and to welcome locals, visitors and tourists.

At that time of the afternoon the church was closed, so I could not visit it and admire all its interior. However, its facade is very nice, so we took the opportunity to take some pictures.

Then we walked to the famous Malecon, a viewpoint located in the popular and busy Larcomar Mall. From this viewpoint you can see a beautiful view of the entire coastline and is a very visited place by tourists. On the boardwalk we could appreciate the incredible view of the sea, we enjoyed a gentle breeze with the smell of the sea.

After taking some pictures at the viewpoint, we sat down to rest and talk for a while. Since it was Valentine's Day that day, there was a young duo singing and serenading the couples present. Although we were only a group of 4 women who were clapping and enjoying the songs, the boys came up to sing us a beautiful song dedicated to the most sublime love that can exist, the love of a mother.

From the viewpoint you can see one of the most exclusive places that exist in the city of Lima, the restaurant "La Rosa Nautica" located right on the sea, with a stilt house style construction, with long structures that hold the building over the sea, which makes it very attractive for tourists who want to experience the experience of eating while admiring and enjoying the beauty of the sea.

The mall is very big and has many stores, but that was not what caught our attention, that is why I did not take pictures there. The most impressive thing was to see the sun slowly go down over the sea to say goodbye to the day and give way to the night.

This trip was very special for me because I was able to spend a day with my mom, my aunt and my cousin. I would never have imagined that we would spend such a beautiful afternoon in a place so far away from our homeland, but that's life; full of surprises. I only pray to God that all the members of my huge family will be able to get together again soon.
