Intro
Bengali is the main language of the Bengalis. All those who speak Bengali are called Bengalis. But to get this Bengali language one has to sacrifice some lives. In other words, through many ups and downs we have got our mother tongue i.e. Bengali language. That is, when India is divided into two parts from the subcontinent, one is Pakistan and the other is India. But then Pakistan was divided into two parts, one was East Pakistan and the other was West Pakistan. East Pakistan means present day Bangladesh. And since then the conflict over language has started. Which state language of Pakistan will be Urdu or Bengali?
Then the conflict started with language. At that time some young people of Bangladesh especially students, poets, teachers, intellectuals and conscious citizens of Bengal fought hard for the Bengali language. That is why Rafiq, Shafiq, Barkat, Jabbar and many others lost their lives on February 21, 1952. The Shaheed Minar was built to show respect to them. That is why the Shaheed Minar was built to protect the memory of those who gave their lives for the protection of Bengalis in Bengali. So it is a symbol of Bengali tradition and pride.
Something about traveling to the Shaheed Minar
I went out on an emergency a few days ago. There I entered a government college to soak up the afternoon air. Then I saw a Shaheed Minar in front of the college gate and I proceeded. I like to see Shaheed Minar. Because it has been built to protect the memory of those for whose lives we got our Bengali language. So a different feeling towards it. Moreover, in our country, language martyrs are honored with flowers at various state functions every year at this Shaheed Minar. So I am really happy to visit this Shaheed Minar.
A few words about the structure of the Shaheed Minar
The Shaheed Minar usually has five pillars. The middle pillar is a little bigger. The upper part is bent towards the front. Four more pillars on either side. It is believed that the vigilant guard is standing in the middle with his four children. And these pillars are compared to the language martyrs.
And a round red circle in the middle. This red circle is compared to the rising sun. The red sun is the light of freedom, the new day, the light that dispels darkness.

I am Md. Kawsar Hasan. I am Bangladeshi and proud to introduce myself as a Bangladeshi because I love my country so much. Because this is my motherland. I am engaged in the teaching profession. When I can teach my students something new, I have a different feeling. I also like to learn and do something new every day, I like to mingle with new people and like to learn something new. I always think of myself as a student of nature. Because we have a lot to learn from nature. I just try small to learn. I love to travel. A lot can be learned from nature through travel. Love to learn and write. I have been trying to write since I was a child and that is why I often fall behind in writing. I try to respect people. I think if you respect someone, your self-esteem does not decrease but increases.
