Woke up at around 8:30 AM. June was already awoke at that time. We took breakfast at McDonalds. He had his pancake and I had my cheesy egg-desal with sausage. I told him just to get his coffee at Tim Horton’s since the café is not yet in Cebu. So, we skipped our coffee at McDonalds. We had our quick catch up on how’s everybody’s going. He also shared his plans of going around the Philippines and target to visit all the provinces. He has his scratch map — that you can only scratch a place in the map if you have been there. So far, with his Manila trip, he’s been to different places already, including Cavite (where Tagaytay is).
We finished our food at McDonalds and went straight to Tim Hortons. Surprisingly, there were already a lot of customers early in the morning. I suggested to June their best-seller, which is Double Double French Vanilla (Iced). He paid for my drink! Thanks June!
We sat in the alfresco area where we see cars and people pass by. I shared with him that the condominium across where we seated has a big billboard of Professor as a marketing publicity for the finale season of Netflix’s Money Heist. It was so huge that you felt like a tiny little ant.
The area where we seated has a New York vibe (“So New York!!”). So I told him that I'll take photos of him while enjoying his coffee.
I made an Instagram Story of his pic and tagged New York. Then suddenly, a good friend of mine in the US suddenly messaged me that he will meet me in New York. I don’t know if I'll get excited or sad. So, I told him that the photo is just in Eastwood, Quezon City. Anyways.
After we finished our coffee, I asked June whether he likes to join me in the swimming pool of the condominium. He giddily joined me. At last, he’ll be able to use his beach wear that was supposed to be for La Union (that’s why we have a Tagaytay Trip last June 4). We took a 30-minute dip. It was a perfect sunny weather while enjoying in the cold waters of the pool.
June’s flight was still in the afternoon, around 5:00 PM. So we were able to have a lunch at Eastwood Mall. After the lunch, we went back to the condo and he prepared his stuff. At around 2:30PM, we bid our goodbyes and escorted him down to the lobby area.
See you again, June!
