Hello everyone, how are you?
I finally found some free time to hit the road after a hard week.
My sister was camping at Stavrolimenas, a beach lovated at Perdika GR and asked me if I could drop by for a visit and take her back to our hometown.
It was already late when I finished my tasts for the day but I definitely needed some fresh air so I teamed up with 
We arrived there around 18:00, parked the car and stared the view for a good while.
I've been to Stavrolimenas beach many times but everytime I check out the beach from above it's just magical. A small bay with torquise water and vast vegetation! What more can you ask? Plus it's never too crowded 😉
One of my favourite parts when I visit this beach is the view just before you walk into the beach. It was too sunny and my mobile phone could not capture it's beauty but this is the part I was talking about 👇
We met up with my sister and some other friends and hanged out for about 2 hours. It wasn't much but it was definitely enough to clear my head out.
This was also one of the very few times I saw waves at Stavrolimenas beach. It was quite windy actually. It's such a small bay so the sea is always calm but yesterday was different. The sea was kinda wild but beautiful.

I love drinking a couple of beers at the beach but yesterday I felt like drinking just water and some juice. I wanted to heal my brain the natural way and it worked like a charm.
I also shot a couple more photos while I was chilling. They didn't turn out the way I imagined them but at least you can get a glimpse of this place.
We left the beach around 20:00, did a fast stop at Perdika so we can grab something to eat. In my surprise, the village was kinda crowded and that's great for the local economy. It's good to see businesses making some money with all that COVID stuff going around.
1 month ago most of these shops were closed. At least August might be a good months in terms of tourism and all these people can reduce this year's economic damage.
We were on our way back to Ioannina after eating a Greek Souvlaki (actually 2) and we arrived there 1 and a half hour later. I was feeling super chill and I am glad I decided to go pick up my sister.
I really needed some time off the city and a quite beach was the ideal choise.
