Hello everyone. How are you today? In this post, I will take everyone to see a temple in Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple is called Wat Huay Nam Yen. On this trip, my wife and I visited this temple late May. The temple is about 55 kilometers from our house. We left home at 7:40 a.m. and journey to Mae Ai District on Highway 107. A rural district in the northern end of Chiang Mai Province. And journey to the temple on the rural road in Mae Ai District about 300 meters to Wat Huay Nam Yen.
Some atmospheres of the journey and scenery on the road of this trip. That day the sky was overcast. And there are few cars on the road.

Wat Huay Nam Yen sign. The temple sign is along the highway 107. This sign is made of wood.

When we arrived at Wat Huay Nam Yen. This temple is a rural common monastery with a large garden. But section containing the chapel, there are only 2 beautiful architectures. The first architecture was the buddha image hall (viharn). The buddha image hall (viharn) is made of bricks plastered with cement and painted white. The decoration of this buddha image hall (viharn), decorated with gold color and blue Lanna style stucco patterns on the front, doors and windows. And the front is also decorated with oil paintings of angels. The entrance stairs are serpent-shaped stairs like other temples.

The second architecture is the pagoda. We see a very tall and large bell. This bell is behind the buddha image hall (viharn). And is not yet completed. At first my wife and I thought this was just a large bell. When we ask people in the temple. We therefore know that this tall and large bell is a bell-shaped pagoda. And this pagoda is the only one in Thailand that is built in the shape of a bell. I think the bell-shaped pagoda looks beautiful and outstanding. Even though the temple is in an alley about 300 meters from the highway. But the size and outstanding of the pagoda. The pagoda can therefore be seen from a distance on the highway.

The temple also has the many small pavilions and buddha statues in the temple's large garden.

The atmosphere and scenery of the temple is a rural temple among nature.

Additionally there is also another area which is a section containing the monks' living quarters. But we didn't walk and didn't take photos in that area. Especially the amazing bell-shaped pagoda.
These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
