Hello Worldmappin fam 😊 Have a blissful New Year 😃, 2026 is said to be the year of the horse. So, let me take you to my Eco-park adventure journey where I enjoyed myself riding a white horse 😉 at Mandayao waterfalls Eco-adventure park.
How to get there:
My friend, Jeseleth and I went to the Ceres South bus terminal to ride a bus going to La Castellana it takes one and a half hours from Bacolod City to La Castellana. Then we hail a tricycle going to Mandayao Waterfalls Eco-adventure park, which is located at Sitio Mandayao Barangay Mansalanao, La Castellana. It's just 15 minutes away from the town proper.
This is the reception area, just take a short trek steps to see the beauty of Mandayao waterfalls. The entrance is fifty-pesos only, very affordable for budget-traveler.
Mandayao falls is 140 feet waterfall, its waterfall waters comes from mount Kanlaon volcano. The refreshing water is great for swimming especially during hot weather, you can also do rafting while getting close to the falls. I didn't try rafting, I don't have courage to do it. I have a faint heart. Waterfalls lovers who are seeking adventure Mandayao waterfalls is great place to explore. It's great for family and friends looking for inexpensive nature escapades.
Riding a horse offers physical, mental, social benefits and emotional being. Spending time with a horse and in nature is indeed calming 😊 While riding a horse the rhythmic motion of the horse has meditative effect on me that promote relaxation and mindfulness. It's a good way to break from my sedentary lifestyles.
