Yesterday was Sunday and that is usually our busiest day at the beach resort. We are very firmly in the middle of the dry season so the weather is good and hot, and the road is also better. So we have a lot of people who come from Accra to enjoy the beach.
Yesterday afternoon the sky started to get dark this was around 4pm, so luckily most of our guests had already had their fun and enjoyment in the sun because it really looked like it was going to rain. After I took the above photo from our beach bar I went looking for a better vantage point.
I snapped the picture above going up the walkway from the beach. I was getting ready for some action because I have seen some strong storm fronts like this in the past and they have created some fast crazy weather. But not usually this time of year.
I found a higher vantage point up the building and got this shot.
The storm front arrived over the top of us but it was a bit higher than I thought it would be. It did not come with heavy wind or even rain at this point.
This storm front produced some nice pictures but it never did bring any rain where I was at. I heard it did rain in some other places but non for us. The weather got a little cooler and there was a bit of wind but nothing serious.
