Beginning of the Journey
A few days ago I went to visit my aunt who lives in the hinterland which is precisely at the foot of Mount Halimun which is located in the village of Blang Pandak, Tangse District, Pidie Regency. To go to my aunt's house I have to drive a motorbike for approximately 2 hours.
He lives in a small village where the inhabitants are not too many and the majority of the population there are farmers and planters.
My cousin and I left for my aunt's house at 3 pm, usually it only takes 2 hours to get there, but due to unfavorable weather so we have to be a little careful on the way.
On the way we enjoyed the view of the farmers' fields which had just been plowed by a tractor and were about to be sown with rice seeds so that they could grow well.
it was a nice trip when the weather was a little cloudy and a little cloudy, but I hope it doesn't rain and hampers our trip because I didn't bring a raincoat.
As the road was going uphill between the hills, I saw 2 small children sitting on the side of the road while waiting for the heavy-loaded cars which if they weren't strong when climbing the incline they would help them put stones under the tires so they wouldn't back down. it's not the first time I've seen them here, I think they do this work every day when they come home from school.
And it saddens me to see them sitting all afternoon by the side of the road like that and wishing someone would give them some money. I also felt sorry for his physically disabled brother, I stopped and gave them some money to encourage these 2 kids.
After passing 2 small children on the first hill climb, my cousin and I continued our journey to my aunt's house. And I stopped at a stream that lies on the side of the road.
We continue our journey
Monkeys
This is one of my favorite parts of the trip. I always buy a few packets of crusty bread and give it to the caretaker on this street. They are a herd of monkeys who are always waiting for motorists who pass on this road and feed them.
Actually this is not a very good idea, because these monkeys can attack the riders if they feel threatened. One bad experience I had with these monkeys, once suddenly when there was a dead monkey lying in the middle of the road because it was hit by a car, I intended to move the monkey carcass to the side of the road, but a herd of big monkeys and others chased me wildly, until I immediately pressed the gas motor and left from there.
After leaving the monkey I continued my journey to my aunt's house
Most of the houses they live in are houses made of wood and boards.
