We stayed on the coast of Maine for a few days, then went to look at a new place in upstate New York. We drove up diagonally through New Hampshire and Vermont. The route took us through many scenic roads. Throughout our trip, we made plenty of stops and spent more time in Vermont. We stopped to play on a quaint playground of a consolidated K-8 school in a small Vermont town. We also stopped for a maple farm tour and to play on a new playground in Bennington, Vermont. The heat wave started to head into New England as we drove through, so we ended up going to a beach on Lake Bomoseen.
There are so many things to stop and see as you are driving through Vermont; antique shops, farms, maple syrup and ice cream stops, covered bridges, and other scenic views. It also appears to be a mecca for book lovers, considering the large amount of Little Free Libraries placed everywhere. Check out my photos below to see our many stops throughout the state of Vermont.
