Panagatan Restaurant is the most loved seafood restaurant in our place, it started in Opol Misamis Oriental, about 15 minutes drive from the city proper and now they already have branches in Iligan City and Valencia, Bukidnon. They also have branches in two different Malls in Cagayan de Oro City.
But of course with all those branches I still prefer to dine at their main resto located in Opol, Misamis Oriental. The reason is because the ambient is cool not to mention that you are like eating delicious food inside a cruise ship.
So if you are craving delicious dishes, don’t wait for long, visit their branches and be amazed by the taste of their foods.
A few days ago, we had the chance to visit this place. We were invited for a dinner, the whole family with the family of my sister and with our guest from the United States, my daughter’s fiancé.
It was a night well spent being able to dine with my loved ones.
Such an affair was being planned a long time ago as my future son-in-law was about to come home after 3 long years. He is supposed to spend a yearly vacation here in the Philippines but because of covid or the pandemic, he wasn’t able to go home for straight 3 years.
Well, the original plan was actually to go to another place, a bit far from Cagayan de Oro but we had stricken by a very strong typhoon which caused the original plan not to be realized.
Anyhow, I am still glad that even if we only spent the day at Panagatan, it was still a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I mean we can dine there if we want but the thought of having the whole family around is a different thing.
This time it’s so hard to bring the whole family along in a situation like this since they already have their own life to deal with. People seem to be very preoccupied with their studies, business, and others that hinder us to come together in one setting.
Anyhow, Panagatan is one good destination to go to if you want a full stomach after a busy day or when you have the chance to visit our place. This is one of the favorite destinations for people who love seafood and fine dining at the sea.
Personally, I would want to bring my guests to this place rather than bringing them or letting them eat at the mall.
Aside from the cool place they also offer delicious and affordable food, as you can see on their menu, you can have one complete meal as low as 3$.
Panagatan is now open or offers breakfast, a perfect place to start your day. They offer the following for breakfast:
• Corned Beef
• Bacon
• Daing na Bangus
• Crispy Danggit
And a lot more. They also offer delivery anywhere in Cagayan de Oro.
For me, I would rather take my breakfast in Panagatan than have it anywhere else. This is also a highly recommended place to visit when you are here in Cagayan de Oro City.
