Sambauan Island
It is one of the most beautiful island located in the heart of Philippines. Situated in Biliran island which is part of the Visayas Region.

How to get there?
Let us say you are already in the Philippines.
- Book a flight going to Tacloban Airport
- From the airport, you have to ride a Van going to Naval port
- You have to ride a boat which will take for about 2 hours going to Maripipi Island.
- Then rent a motorbike going to Barangay Ol-og.
- After than you have to ride a motorboat going to Sambauan. If you are traveling with your friends, it is better to rent a whole motorboat because there is no public boat trip on the said place.
Where to stay?
The locals offer open cottages and cozy rooms for a very low low price. For overnights, there are open cottages cost for $10 USD while rooms are available for $50 USD that can fit with 5-6 people. If you are just planning for a day use, you can rent a table and bench for $8 USD.
