I hope that everybody is doing great! It's summertime here in my place Cebu, Philippines and it's extremely hot now. Since it was my husband's rest day I urged him for some family day out somewhere to relax. So we went to the next town for swimming.
Kansanto Cold Spring - is just one of the many water spots in Badian, Cebu, the Philippines which is located at barangay Banhigan, Badian southern Cebu - approximately 3 hours from the City you can reach there by bus from South Bus Terminal (Barili via Bato) route. The place is within a walking distance of the highway after you go down the bus but if you don't like to walk you can just drop off at the Badian Public Market and look for a habal-habal motorcycle to take you there and you can pay 50 pesos per head.

But if you have your vehicle it's much better they also have a parking space that will only cost you 50 pesos for four wheels vehicles and 20 pesos for motorcycles. For the entrance fee, it will only cost you 50 pesos per adult and 25 pesos per kid.
They also have different types of native and modern cottages that you can rent for 300-500 pesos each and they also have overnight accommodation which will cost 2000 pesos and it sounds expensive but if you can afford it or if want why not?
When we enter the area we spot some part of the pool is loaded with fish and I learned that you can buy these fish per kilo if you like it for grilling there.

Honestly, it's quite unusual for my family to go out for relaxation like this because of the time since my husband is almost away every day for work and we only have 1 day in a week to spend long family time and usually, we only spend it at home because of financial issues sometimes but being an escape from usual routine will give us an extreme HAPPINESS and staying this Cold Spring Pool on a hot summer gives us total relaxation. The water is so clear and cold that will make you like to jump while the heat of the sun touched your skin. Unluckily we are not complete here because my eldest Carlo was left at home because of his schooling but we'll surely be back here next time with him.
Just a friendly reminder if you have the time to visit here make sure to be careful while walking some part of the pool is covered with algae and they are so sleepery.
