I arrived here in 2019 when I was 18 years old, I came from Caracas because I came to work here and ended up living, what things not? The truth is that it was possible for me to be able to settle down here and be able to study at the university, since in Caracas, being honest and as much as I love Caracas, things there were very difficult to live with. Anyway, I came and stayed, for a moment I thought if it was the right thing to do or if I really just wanted to be in Caracas so I just told myself it's another experience, another opportunity, and just enjoy and live in peace and I'm here for 2 years and medium, it should be noted that in 2021 while the COVID 19 pandemic returns to Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas where I am from to quarantine with my family.
San Diego is located in the center-west of Venezuela, it is a municipality in the Carabobo State, about two hours from Caracas by highway, due to its geography San Diego is a valley, and the city is known as the San Diego Valley since It is surrounded by mountains that belong to the western central mountain range of Venezuela that begins in the hills of San Juan de Los Morros and ends in the state of Aragua, it also deviates towards the state of Miranda and the capital district, which is why Caracas is also considered a valley. . San Diego has an average temperature of 27º, that is why it is an area where part of the year is cool and in others it is hot, it also has a time when it rains a lot, which is the one in which this article is being written. I will always say that the best areas are those that are easy to connect to, because of their location, San Diego is close to the beach, metropolitan cities, and the mountains of Aragua and Miranda.
One of the things for which this city is known is that one of the busiest highways in the country crosses it and it is the Don Julio Centeno, which is a connection to the Pan-American Highway, which is one of the busiest in Venezuela. , for this San Diego is well known, many people make stops to eat, rest, and among other activities of people who travel by road. The José Antonio Páez University is a private university founded in 1997, it is a very famous university in Venezuela, especially for its dentistry degree, which is the main strength of the university, it is also well known for its architecture degree. I don't know if I mentioned it before in any of my articles, but I study Business Administration here at UJAP, in the Faculty of Social Sciences, I decided to study here since the truth is that I live very close and getting there is very easy for me, for reasons For my safety I am not going to tell you where I live, but in the end I decided to study here because of how close it is to me, what I did not take into account at the beginning of the degree is the price of the university and how expensive it could be, today is one of the most expensive universities in Carabobo, that's why sometimes I have problems, because of the payment, that's why you guys and girls I will always appreciate your support here since it is very helpful for me to be able to continue giving you the content of my adventures here. I want to clarify that San Diego is well known for this, for its universities, since it also has the Arturo Michelena University and the well-known University of Carabobo is also very close by, so in addition to being an industrial city, it is also a university city.

I'll tell you before I mentioned that San Diego is a valley and that a lot of these mountains are located in the center northwest of the country. I consider these hills magical, more than magical I recognize the power of nature. Something that happens with this hill and all those that surround San Diego is that part of the year they dry up, it is the time when it is very hot and even catches fire, I do not know if the fires are caused or natural, but they are always at a certain time of the year since I've lived here, but the point here is that after being dry, whenever the rainy season arrives, all the vegetation is reborn, turning it into a very pretty forest green color, let it be a moral that after a bad time everything will bloom for good.
I always use to compare cities in various aspects to determine what kind of place is for me, I do this just for that reason I will always say that each place is unique and each place has its beauty. But speaking of my comparison with respect to San Diego, I consider it a small city, since, in reality, it is more than a city, it is a large town because it has shopping malls that are not so large but fair for the city, it also has large highways, but few buildings, it has the main airport of Carabobo state, the Arturo Michelena international airport located in the industrial zone, it also has the industrial zone which includes several of the most important companies in the country. In short, it is a small city, with city and town things at the same time, less than 10 minutes away is Valencia, the capital of Carabobo state and the third most important city in the country, if you want to walk around a city you could go there and see more variety of things. One piece of information in the photo is the San Diego shopping center, but here in San Diego it is known as the end of the century and this is because before there was a supermarket named after that abdicated in this shopping center. This is very particular here in Venezuela and I think that, throughout Latin America, call places by references and not just by what they are called.
The parish church of San Diego is located in the La Esmeralda urbanization, it is one of the most popular sectors of San Diego. This is an emblematic place in San Diego. Honestly, I am not someone who has been there a lot, but it is a representative place of the area. San Diego has several sectors, there are open residential sites such as Esmeralda and sectors where there are only residential complexes such as Valle de Oro which is a set of several residential complexes Located in San Diego, there is also the industrial zone which is where it is developed most of the economic activity of the city, there are food, automotive, tobacco companies among other large companies that are in the area, within the industrial zone of San Diego is the bus terminal, this whole area is called Big Low Center and I sincerely want to say that I don't like this area very much since it is an area where there is a lot of lack of control, thieves and other characteristics that damage an area. The first time I got here it was through there, by the passenger terminal and the truth is I thought that, just as that area was, I was going to do all of San Diego, but the truth is that it is not just that part of the city that is so different from all the town. And if I have to clarify that perhaps Venezuela is not the best when it comes to security, but particularly San Diego is the safest city I have ever been to.
The truth is that San Diego brings it to them, it is a city that has done very well for me in some things and badly in others, at least in terms of money it has not gone as well as in Caracas and it is clear that I have talent and can do is in big cities where you can perform your work well towards a larger public, San Diego is the ideal place for engineers, I also have to say that to get around comfortably it is better to have a car with the that you can get around because the distances here are a bit long. I do not want to say that it is not a good place to work, because the truth is that there are many jobs, but in my case, it has not worked out for me. I could also say that if you are looking for a place where you want to improve your quality of life and have improved services, this is the right place and that the strong point of San Diego is an area very different from the rest of the country, here are the things to As crazy as it sounds in this country, they work, I say this bearing in mind that problems are frequent in the country and here they are, too, but smaller than in the rest of the country.
I have been told that in the '90s this city shone even brighter, I say this more than anything in regards to the decline that the country had after the country's economic crisis, and be careful with this I consider San Diego one of the best places to go out at night until late at night you see a lot of mobilization of cars and open restaurants if you don't have a car you could use the taxi applications that exist in Venezuela that are similar to Uber. But yes, my dear friends, this city at the time of prosperous Venezuela was a point where you could enjoy it to the fullest and even one of the best places to go out was the Big Low Center which I mentioned before gave me a bad vibe, well that place was a spectacle for the population, particularly my mother tells me that she came with her friends to San Diego just to visit the Big Low center, she studied in Maracay in the state of Aragua about half an hour from San Diego, imagine making that trip just to visit a place that was so sought after at the time.
