Hallo liebe Hiver,
herzlich willkommen zu travel around the world. Letztes Jahr waren wir im Sommer trotz Corona im Allgäu. Es war das erste mal, dass wir dort waren und ich war begeistert. Man muss nicht immer ins Ausland fahren, um einen schönen Urlaub zu verbringen und neue Eindrücke zu sammeln. Da haben wir mal wieder gesehen, wie schön auch Deutschland als Reiseziel sein kann.
Wir hatten ein tolles Hotel mit Indoor und Outdoor Pool und Aussicht auf die Berge. Auch die Bewirtung, der Wellnessbereich und das Sportangebot ( Fitnessstudio, Tennisplätze, E-Bike ) ließen nichts zu wünschen übrig im Tannenhof.
Das Wetter war hauptsächlich schön sonnig und warm. Außer am Anreisetag, da hat es geschüttet wie aus Eimern und der Bach im Dorf wurde zu reißenden Strom. Hier wurden schon fast die an den Häusern markierten Höchststände aus vergangenen Tagen erreicht.
Da die Grenze zu Österreich auf Grund Corona dicht war, haben wir uns auf die deutsche Seite konzentriert und so allerhand erkundet. Ein Trip an den Bodensee sollte nicht fehlen, wenn möglich mit der Seilbahn von Bregenz rauf auf den Berg, da hat man eine fantastische Aussicht über den ganzen See. Und auch die vielen herrlichen Klamms im Allgäu laden zu ausgedehnten Wanderungen ein. Hier findet man fast in jedem Ort eine, die man begehen kann. Man sollte aber trittsicher sein und kleinere Kinder an der Hand nehmen, sonst ist da schnell mal was passiert. Die Steine auf den Wegen sind doch immer sehr rutschig.
Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich, welch spektakuläre Anblicke die Natur zu bieten hat wie Ihr auf den Fotos unten sehen könnt.
Wir können das Allgäu mit seinen grandiosen Landschaften, Wanderwegen, gutem Essen und herzlichen Menschen jedem für einen Aufenthalt ans Herz legen!

Hello dear Hiver,
welcome to travel around the world. Last year we were in the summer despite Corona in the Allgäu. It was the first time we were there and I was thrilled. You don't always have to go abroad to spend a nice vacation and collect new impressions. We saw once again how beautiful Germany can be as a travel destination.
We had a great hotel with indoor and outdoor pool and views of the mountains. Also the hospitality, the spa area and the sports facilities (gym, tennis courts, e-bike) left nothing to be desired in the Tannenhof.
The weather was mainly nice and sunny and warm. Except on the day of arrival, it poured like from buckets and the stream in the village became a raging torrent. Here almost the highs marked on the houses from past days were reached.
Since the border with Austria was closed due to Corona, we concentrated on the German side and so explored all sorts of things. A trip to Lake Constance should not be missing, if possible with the cable car from Bregenz up to the mountain, there you have a fantastic view over the whole lake. And also the many beautiful gorges in the Allgäu invite you to extended hikes. Here you can find one in almost every village, which you can walk. However, you should be sure-footed and take smaller children by the hand, otherwise something can happen quickly. The stones on the paths are always very slippery.
It is always amazing what spectacular sights nature has to offer as you can see in the photos below.
We can recommend the Allgäu with its magnificent landscapes, hiking trails, good food and warm people to everyone for a stay!
