Hello Pinmapple community! Today I want to talk to you about Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, the country where I live!.

Ciao community di Pinmapple! Oggi voglio parlarvi di Venezia, una delle più belle città di Italia, il paese in cui vivo!.

First, since it is located near the entrance to the city on the side of the train station, we visited the Calatrava Bridge. This bridge is artistically very beautiful, with soft shapes and visually not impacting the landscape. Unfortunately, the choice of materials in the walkable part was not optimal, so much so that it was covered with anti-slip material to prevent people from falling off.

Per prima cosa, visto che è situato vicino all'ingresso nella città dal lato della stazione dei treni, abbiamo visitato il Ponte di Calatrava. Questo ponte artisticamente è molto bello, con delle forme morbide e visivamente non impattante nel paesaggio. Purtroppo la scelta dei materiali nella parte calpestabile non è stata ottimale, tant'è che è stato ricoperto con materiale anti scivolo per non far cadere le persone.

From here, we continued our sightseeing in the city, strolling through the picturesque alleys, occasionally meeting some gondolas and taking a few photos in picturesque corners.

Da qui, abbiamo proseguito la nostra visita nella città, passeggiando per i vicoli pittoreschi, incontrando di tanto in tanto qualche gondola e scattando alcune foto in angoli suggestivi.

In the direction of St. Mark's, we encountered the Bridge of Sighs, so called because prisoners were led from the Doge's Palace to the place where interrogations took place.

In direzione San Marco, abbiamo incontrato il Ponte dei sospiri, chiamato così perchè i prigionieri venivano condotti dal Palazzo Ducale alla sede in cui si svolgevano gli interrogatori.

As you enter St Mark's Square, keeping your back to it, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Venice, that of the Grand Canal.

All'ingresso di piazza San Marco tenendosela alle spalle, si può godere di una delle viste più belle di Venezia, quella sul canal Grande.

And then there it was, St Mark's Square. Unfortunately, the cathedral was under restoration, but the square retains its eternal charm.

E poi eccola, piazza San Marco. Purtroppo la cattedrale era in restauro, ma la piazza in ogni caso mantiene il suo fascino eterno.

From here we left for the Rialto Bridge, another historical monument in the city.

Da qui siamo ripartiti alla volta del ponte di Rialto, altro monumento storico della città.

As a last visit, we went into the Acqua Alta bookshop, where stacks of books are piled on boats inside the bookshop, which floods during periods of high water!

Come ultima visita, siamo entrate nella libreria Acqua Alta, dove pile di libri sono accatastate su barchette all'interno della libreria, la quale si allaga durante i periodi di acqua alta!
