Conociendo el Bosque Alemão | Curitiba - Brasil 📍🇧🇷 [ESP-ENG]

Desde hace un tiempo hice una lista en mi celular con todos los lugares turísticos de la ciudad que quiero conocer, esto con el fin de que cuando llegara el momento pudiera tener una idea de que lugares visitar para aprovechar esos días libres, ahora que mis vacaciones llegaron me he dedicado desde el primer día a ir a estos lugares que tanto quería conocer y el día de hoy les mostraré el primero de ellos.

For some time now I've been making a list on my phone of all the tourist spots in the city that I want to visit, so that when the time came I'd have an idea of where to go to make the most of my free time. Now that my vacation has arrived, I've been dedicated from day one to visiting these places I've been wanting to see, and today I'll show you the first one.

Mi primer lugar turístico a conocer fue el Bosque Alemão el cual quería visitar desde hace meses y finalmente pude hacerlo. Este es uno de los espacios naturales y culturales más emblemáticos de la ciudad (Curitiba), fue inaugurado en el año 1996 y está conformado por 38.000 metros cuadrados de extensión.

My first tourist destination was the Bosque Alemão, which I had wanted to visit for months and finally made it. This is one of the most emblematic natural and cultural spaces in the city (Curitiba). It was inaugurated in 1996 and covers an area of 38,000 square meters.

La idea de la creación de este espacio nació para rendir homenaje a la población alemana radicada en Curitiba tras su migración a la ciudad, la cual comenzó desde el año 1833 cuando llegaron los primeros inmigrantes alemanes a esta región, siendo estos la familia Schaffer quienes eran dueños de una granja ubicada en lo que hoy en día es el famoso Bosque Alemão que a su vez forma parte del memorial de inmigración alemana.

The idea for creating this space arose to pay homage to the German population settled in Curitiba after their migration to the city, which began in 1833 when the first German immigrants arrived in this region, the Schaffer family who owned a farm located in what is now the famous Bosque Alemão (German Forest), which in turn forms part of the German immigration memorial.

El Bosque Alemão posee varios atractivos, los cuales me aseguré de no perderme durante mi visita y ahora les comentaré uno a uno cuales son. El principal punto para comenzar con el recorrido es el conocido como el Portal que es una réplica de la fachada de una típica casa alemana (enxaimel), esta también conocida como Casa Mila.

The German Forest has several attractions, which I made sure not to miss during my visit, and I will now tell you about them one by one. The main starting point for the tour is the so-called Portal, which is a replica of the facade of a typical German house (enxaimel), also known as Casa Mila.

Pasando el Portal nos adentramos al bosque, recorriendo a través de él el famoso Camino del cuento, siendo este un sendero asfaltado en el que no solo puedes caminar por el interior del bosque sino que a su vez se narra la historia de Joãozinho e Maria una adaptación del famoso cuento de Hansel & Gretel, escrito por partes exhibidas en paneles o tótems que van a lo largo del sendero, contando cada uno una parte de la historia hasta llegar al final del sendero.

Passing through the Portal, we enter the forest, walking along the famous Story Path, an asphalt trail where you can not only walk through the forest but also experience the story of Joãozinho e Maria, an adaptation of the famous Hansel & Gretel tale, written in parts displayed on panels or totems along the path, each telling a part of the story until you reach the end of the path.

Al final del sendero encontramos la última parte del cuento y aunque este termina aquí el camino sigue. Caminando un poco más encontramos La Casa Encantada o tambien conocida como La Casa de la Bruja. Esta casa forma parte de la historia de Joãozinho e Maria, siendo esta la casa de la bruja mencionada en la historia. En su interior encontramos una biblioteca, lugar en el que los fines de semana sirve de centro de actividades y lectura de cuentos infantiles para el público.

At the end of the path, we find the final part of the story, and although it ends here, the journey continues. Walking a little further, we find The Haunted House, also known as The Witch's House. This house is part of the story of Joãozinho and Maria, being the house of the witch mentioned in the tale. Inside, we find a library, which on weekends serves as a center for activities and readings of children's stories to the public.

Siguiendo el camino conseguimos una estructura de madera en forma de escaleras que nos lleva a la parte superior del camino.

Following the path, we find a wooden structure in the form of stairs that takes us to the top of the path.

Al final del camino llegamos a la famosa Torre de los Filósofos, un hermoso mirador construido de madera con una estructura en forma de torre que cuenta con unos 3 pisos de altura, desde la cual podemos obtener una vista panorámica del bosque entero así como de parte de la ciudad.

At the end of the path we arrived at the famous Tower of the Philosophers, a beautiful wooden lookout with a tower-like structure about 3 stories high, from which we can get a panoramic view of the entire forest as well as part of the city.

Al final del mirador encontramos un puente que nos lleva al otro extremo de este lugar, saliendo por completo del bosque y llevándonos a la siguiente parada.

At the end of the viewpoint we find a bridge that takes us to the other side of this place, leaving the forest completely and leading us to the next stop.

El punto final del recorriso es el Oratorio de Bach, siendo esta una réplica de una iglesia presbiteriana que existió hace muchos años en el centro de la ciudad. Está construida en madera y tanto su diseño como su arquitectura reflejan la influencia de la cultura alemana en esta ciudad.

The final stop on the tour is the Bach Oratorio, a replica of a Presbyterian church that stood many years ago in the city center. It is built of wood, and both its design and architecture reflect the influence of German culture in this city.

En resumen fue una experiencia bastante linda y tranquila, donde no solo conocimos un nuevo lugar turístico de la ciudad sino que aprendimos un poco de su historia a la vez que disfrutamos de la naturaleza y de los hermosos paisajes que nos brinda este lugar.

In short, it was a very nice and peaceful experience, where we not only discovered a new tourist attraction in the city but also learned a bit about its history while enjoying nature and the beautiful landscapes this place offers.
