Exploring the Heart of Oyo State for the First Time

There is always a different feeling when you explore to a new area entirely that is not where you have been before and the idea, feeling so most of my stay has just been two state even though i always travel to other state but it has not been long just like the two state i always stay mostly. So recently, i decided to register for the youth service corp which is popularly known as the NYSC. It is a program where recent graduate are given a mandatory one year service exercise to serve.

So since i chose a state of my choice which is OYO state and within it we have different and various local government in it and luckily for me i was posted to the center local government which is the capital of the state close to the governor’s office and the fun part before i knew it was close to the governor’s office was that all the road were clean and also tiled no pot hole at all and i was able to come across the office because i couldn’t locate where i was going initially and i was taken to the wrong address which is the governor office instead of the NYSC state secretariat.

Moving through the city was not so much stress but all i know is that the city is very wide and if that is the first time of going there you can spend so much on transportation within same city and not even up to the amount that will be spent on going outside the state.

I went to the capital of the state and the local government precisely which is ibadan north 1, that was where i did my documentation when i was posted. I saw a lot of buildings along side while i was going and i was on bike so i couldn’t stop to take any picture in it but almost all the pictures were taken in motion and all thanks to my phone that was able to capture those things and do not look like i was moving.

I have been hearing the shooting star football club on social media and also Tv. It is a professional football club for the state and i do not know i will finally come across it one day or it will even be close to my place. I saw the stadium while i was passing the main road to the local government and believe me it was a very big structure and i would definitely love to enter it one day because it is just like a dream come true for me.

I saw banks and also big structures, techno office which are responsible for producing Various phone products. It was really massive. Different companies that i never imagined i will see in that capital was there and all I could say was that this is amazing. At a point where i was supposed to take another bus to my final destination i stopped to enter a bank which is a big structure, Access bank to be precised and when i entered there it was very cool and i didn’t want to go back outside.

But after resting a while by sitting down i had to leave to continue my journey where i was going to. It was really fun to me and i wish to explore more soon.
