Mt. Masaraga Campsite in Ligao, Albay, is known for its stunning views of Mayon Volcano.
It is nestled on the slope of the majestic Mt. Masaraga, so a panoramic view of nearby mountains, including Mayon Volcano, is expected.
It is a bright and sunny morning when we decide on a date.
The drive to Mt. Masaraga was lined with nature.
As we approached the base of the mountain, the air became fresh.
After we parked the motorcycle at the entrance, we started to step on the nature trail leading to the campsite.
The air was fresh and cool.
We enjoy the forest, the rocky path, and even the moment to breathe in the beauty around us.
And after what felt like an eternity, the Mt. Masaraga campsite finally emerged.
The towering mountain loomed powerfully in the background, framed by a sky painted with soft clouds.
The view surrounding us was breathtaking.
Seated on a wooden bench, we took a moment to absorb the panorama.
The mountains stood tall and majestic.
Wisps of clouds floated lazily above.
After that stunning embrace of nature, we decided to eat a snack.
A simple snack of pancit canton, which we ordered earlier.
After our meal, we grabbed our cameras and explored the area around the campsite.
We captured pictures, posing on the short grass, hands intertwined, with the majestic Mount Mayon as our stunning backdrop.
The scenery was breathtaking, but our love shone brighter. 🥰
Of course, a jump shot is a must, channeling our inner child, completely carefree.
It's a good thing our friend, a constant source of support and encouragement, joined us on our adventure.
She captured our special moments as our instant photographer.
With her keen eye for detail, she snapped beautiful photos of us against the stunning backdrop of Mayon Volcano.
Throughout the trip, she also offered words of encouragement and even joined in on the fun.
Her role went beyond just capturing memories — she also helped us create lifelong memories.
And because she's determined to capture the perfect shot, as we lounged on the grassy hillside, she snapped a photo of us lying down.
We looked relaxed!
After we snapped photos, we ended up tired but exhilarated.
Oh, before I forget, Mt.Masaraga Campsite offers tent rentals.
The prices vary based on size and capacity.
As I remember, a 2-person tent costs around P350 or $6.32, including camping mats.
A 4-person tent costs P500 or $9.02... etc.
But, alternatively, they also offer a small kubo (hut) for rent. Costs around P1,000 or $18.04 per night. This can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people.
They also charge an overnight fee of P75 or $1.35 per head.
All in all, our adventure was truly unforgettable!
Despite the hike's challenges, the breathtaking views of Mayon Volcano and quality time with loved ones made every step worthwhile.
Until our next stunning scenery... Buh-bye. 👋💗
